Eastern

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'

Gavin, don't forget attach descriptions like "this is super-duper-secret hardware for [conzored]picture made by [cenzored], after [cenzored]" under each photo. and of course series of photos, like "im and sexy nude female CIA spies together in pool" also welcomed ;-)
nereer don't worry, all feds usual uber-secret infiltraction/replacement practices remain secret. between you, me, this topic readers and worldwide intel community.

He said they were interested and that the CIA had said some valuable things to him, primarily to say......  .. BUY! BUY! BUY!

He didn't say much, mostly "The CIA doesn't tell you what they're thinking"  Tongue. Overall I'd say the picture he painted was an overall positive tone from the CIA. He actually sold a bitbill to someone who works for the CIA for $20.

Hopefully he'll have his own write up sometime, but a lot of the hour was filled with non-CIA related discussion. I'd like to know which strong points he made in his discussion but they didn't even discuss that today sadly.

That's what we're all waiting for, and we should not forget the open route he took from the start. I think we can count on him returning to this thread and telling us something.

Host of that radio show is awful. He has the lead bitcoin developer on, right after talking to the CIA, and all he can do is continue to repeat "so why do you think they're interested?' over and over. Cmon.

Agree. On top of the competition for mining, exchanges, and other related business, there should be more competition for public faces of the community.

Wow, what a BAD interview.  Many of us know that a bitcoin leader lecturing at the CIA was just about the most important event for bitcoin this month and yet it seemed to get two sentences.  Now we know that the CIA doesn't tell what they're thinking...how helpful.

We don't know what Gavin presented, we don't know what questions were asked.

Does anyone else get the impression that Bruce is absolutely giddy about how well his bitcoin investment has done and he can hardly contain himself as he envisions his vast fortune?

I would like the station to do well, though, so I don't want to be too harsh. Some attention to audio quality would be a really good idea.

Terrible interview.....

"Hey I've got an idea, all you guys share a mic. You on the end, just sit there for awhile."

Gavin should make sure these guys are prepared for him. That interview shouldn't be aired.

So are we ever going to get a full report what exactly was talked about, what questions they asked, which aspect seemed to interest them the most or did everybody just kind forget about and is satisfied with 2 lame sentences he gave us on the subject in that lame ass interview?

My personality type: INTJ - please forgive my weaknesses (Not naturally in tune with others feelings; may be insensitive at times, tend to respond to conflict with logic and reason, tend to believe I'm always right)

I have certainly not forgot and presently wait. In earnest. This is too long of a time to have passed with no explanation. Gavin must be under some type of restraining order to not have said anything about it. I don't think he's just so busy it escaped his mind to report to the whole community what transpired.

We can only deduce from the post-interview that it was somewhat positive. He spoke of the changes that would be coming to BTC so we can gather that it might have been positive in some fashion or another.

Gavin! Where are you? Wink if you can hear me....
