For everyone else please let me know how the beta experience is going. so far found around 3 small errors and will likely be putting together a knowledge base on youtube to explain
how to use coin control. it is a very important feature in the wallet we likely should all know how to use for multiple reasons.
Beyond that. please run checkwallet then repair wallet and post a screenshot of the nasty orphans removed. ill pm each one of you who use the feature to help clean up the chain with some special information on your contribution to silk.
The current game in addition to the updates coming, is to get everyone using silk on the new beta, do checkwallet/repair wallet on every wallet; and increase the amount of staking nodes. (YOU!)
The future is a strong and clean network. Please help us build, and post your orphan/beta wallet cleanup for the benefit of all.
Lots to come folks so first steps are these.
1. download beta wallet
2. check clock time is on internet time (click time, 'change time and date settings' 'internet time') and ensure that your computer is running on internet time
3. run check wallet (windows may prompt not responding - let it run)
4. run repair wallet (windows may prompt not responding - let it run)
5. post your successful orphan removal screenshots
6. unlock your wallet for staking and stake to support the network
Currently running at around 15-20% of users on new beta client, and at least 2 folks who are running clients with incorrect comp times.. which causes chain issues for all of us and poor stakes with extensive orphans for everyone.. We will release these addresses in the coming days if not repaired, to find out who has the bad clocks and hopefully contact to repair these issues..(benefiting everyone on the chain..)

These elements are crucial to success, and the hardest to communicate. So! Please be involved in taking care of your orphans, checking your clocks
and getting friends in silk on to the beta.
For mac users if anyone compiles for charity please pm, else I am waiting for alpha release to buy a mac client as all funds available are crucial to silk's progress.
Mac builders are a hot commodity these days and unfortunately minority users. (which i am also mac user in addition to windows)
If mac users wish to donate a mac client build is currently priced in the realm of .2 btc; else after the beta completion, i will purchase and make available a mac client as well for alpha.
(if you only use mac, i can provide escrow services for your coins during this beta phase if no donation of mac client builds come forward)
