OK so the testnet is on block 171.

I am currently mining away very happily.

So I will now get on with getting some Windows and Mac wallets built so that others can get involved too.

The main job of the community now is to spread the word that a new Silk is coming

Wallet is successfully staking, mining and generally looking sexy

Well I have prepared the wallet when it comes to styling.

Temporarily I have placed the logo I made earlier into the wallet source.

PoS interest has been changed to.....................you guessed it, 4.2%

To take a look simply clone and build following the repository instructions:

EDIT: I will change the PoS interest once one person can be contacted to clear their chain. Then the change can be made, we can rebuild and then start PoS mining again at the 4.2%

SILK will never be worthless, at least not in the sense that DarkSilk will be released and SILK will cease to have support etc.

The decision is the communities with whether DRKSLK replaces SILK.

no there will be an optional continuous swap/burn phase for anyone who chooses to.  this will be for any silk purchased at any time including the future.  both chains will coexist.

the only way silk would be done is if the entire supply was burned.  which i would assume is highly unlikely.

Would depend on the value the miners have decided on after the dark silk pow phase. I would assume if it was higher then the price of silk, there would be lot of buying of silk to burn to dark.. which of course decreases the supply at the same time.  currently of course doesnt take much to double and triple price..
