I would support just removing the % based calculation in the code and making it 1,000 HYP for every stake. It would be way less confusing.

...and then there will be fud from the trolls that they're not getting 1000 HYP every time, because "thinking is damn hard" for some. Dang it... LoL Grin

I think that the percentage is a rather informative parameter. When a user sees a flat reward, they isn't tied to any coordinate system and can't understand without calculations is it much or not. The percentage based stake calculation also restricts the distribution when the difficulty is low (after a hard fork, for example). In this case one can get way more than 750% if the reward is flat. Not sure is it good or bad, though, but potentially it can lead to some price fluctuations. So to make it more convenient and non-confusing for a user and still to appeal to the first impression wow factor, there could be the current short average percentage calculation alongside with the percentage cap in the OP, probably in the form of a dynamic widget.

I'm not saying it's a scam because it says 750%, I'm saying don't even give them a chance to come up with FUD based on the 750%. If you give people nothing to FUD about and they still do, it becomes obvious to everyone. What I'm saying is sort of like, don't feed the trolls.

Unfortunately, that is not possible because people will fud about anything and everything whether it is intentional or not. It's like the best of human intelligence and the worst a non utilized brain. For example: Flat Earth. Why this is even a debate in this day and age is beyond intelligence. Grin

I wouldn't worry about the trolls.

Yeah what the hell is going on with flat earth recently ... I keep running into these plonkers.

I like the standardised 1k hyp reward ... lets face it, sub 1k stakes are pretty rare these days the balance is more about age and compound returns than reward value now.

Yes, probably it's time to use Occam's razor.

Sub 1k rewards? Do those even exist? I'm staking for about 3 months and I never seen one.

I rarely receive premiums of 500, 600, 900 Hyper, I usually only receive Hyper 1k rewards, between 15-20 bets per day.

I got a couple earlier in the month 3 in a row if I remember correctly and it took me a bit by surprise.

I'm sure Hyper in a year, it will have a value of 500 sat, maybe 1000 sat.
Because? The coins created in 2013, 2014... will be taken by assault.

Now it's the time to rebuy HYP. The price seems reach lower limit. The price chart shows that HYP will pump again in about 2-4 weeks. That's short enough for traders to wait.

Having backup power and fiber optics for such occasions helps greatly.  Grin

except HYP is not Hyper

I keep coming across this mistake and have made it a few times.  Unfortunately the name are too similar.  I think it must happen alot but am not sure what to suggest to solve it.
