What distro are you using?
Your problem is boost related.

Edit: When I google your problem it is all about boost Version 1.5.8 . Here is the same: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1312757.0

Best try to get a boost Version 1.5.4 . Or use another distro. Ubuntu 14 / 15 and debien 7 are great distros to compile without problems.

I use linux mint 18 cinnamon 64bit.
I will try another distro

Go with ubuntu and you will be able to compile with our instructions!

NAV Tor nodes have mostly been running stable, all on the correct chain height etc., (ref. your post regarding your sending issue) I will double check everything server side, although these are just regular NAV nodes ofc.

With Ubuntu desktop I often recommend running GNOME Metacity, instead of Unity.

sudo apt-get install gnome-session-fallback

Which is hassle free and that bit faster for getting things done when using GUI coin wallets!   Smiley

I use linux mint 18 cinnamon 64bit.
I will try another distro

Go with ubuntu and you will be able to compile with our instructions!

I spend much time, with this problem..

I tested this all distros:
- Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon 64bit
- Linux Mint Debian Edition 64bit
- Debian 8.5.0 Cinnamon 64bit
- Trisquel 7.0 64bit
- Ubuntu 14.04 64bit

And on all the normal build way doesnt work
Code:
sudo apt-get install build-essential
sudo apt-get install libssl-dev
sudo apt-get install libdb++-dev
sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev
sudo apt-get install libqrencode-dev
sudo apt-get install libgmp3-dev
cd src/
make -f makefile.unix

Only in ubuntu with this way I could build the navcoind
in fact, try this. It works for me every time when i have to reinstall my VM. Starting from the root directory you checked out the project to eg. ~/navcoin2/

Code:
sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool autotools-dev automake pkg-config libssl-dev libevent-dev bsdmainutils libboost-all-dev
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev libzmq3-dev libgmp3-dev libminiupnpc-dev
rm -r src/obj
mkdir src/obj
mkdir src/obj/crypto
mkdir src/obj/support
sudo chmod 755 src/leveldb/build_detect_platform
rm -r src/secp256k1/
cd src
wget www.navajocoin.org/files/secp.zip
unzip secp.zip
cd secp256k1
sudo chmod 777 *
./autogen.sh
./configure --enable-module-recovery
make
cd ..
make -f makefile.unix clean
make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=1

If this works for you, I will update the linux build instructions.

To build the navcoin-qt, I must install the Qt Creator and it was showing me some issues..
NAV starts now in ubuntu but I am not sure that I make everything right.
It is really difficult to build the client for linux

Edit:
After long try and error I was able to build the navcoin-qt for
- Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon 64bit
- Linux Mint Debian Edition 64bit
But Qt Creator shows me over 30 issues by the build process.
But navcoin-qt seems to work.

Just navcoind was for me not possible to build on a other system then ubuntu.

It is possible obtain the private key? and then open my wallet in electrun wallet?

it seems that my computer to run bad, the attacker has corrupted everything, i can not connect to the network.

I have many computers to try and also have a backup created with acronis 4 days ago.

Hopefully i can connect to the network and to extract the coins, only use few coins to mine.

first of all, do not open that wallet.exe again until we can figure out some stuff. do not let it synch or it might send out those 500k coins.

secondly: hmm are you sure these are not your addresses? or sent them yourself?

since the 599k coins are not shown on the block explorer. than if you were hacked. it seemed like they did not have a copy of your wallet and tried to sent from their own computer but it seems they are trying to send from your computer. this means you have a scryt somewhere running. but it also means that the request to send never made it outside your network therefore outside nodes have not accepted anything. Which is good. so DO NOT synch your wallet. if you have to open your wallet, disconnect your internet.

maybe you can delete this last request and hope it never was seen outside.

also check for malware.

open task manager and look for suspicious behavior.
check you configuration "config file"  and see if some one tried to change stuff.

was there any other coin you downloaded recently. a lot of shitcoin have a lot of malware for this purpose.

Good advice. Don't sync it. You could try restoring your wallet to a different computer (assuming you have a backup) and resyncing the block chain using one of our blockchain downloads from the downloads page http://navcoin.org/downloads

If the transaction hasn't been submitted to the network, the balance might return to your wallet. If it's been broadcast there's pretty much nothing anyone can do.

Hi!

at the end there was no problem with my wallet, i extracted and recovered my nav.

I have extracted into two different wallet, one at poloniex and the other to electrum, after have been returned 8,000 NAV, incredible:

 Smiley

Account NS1FHJSX... surely isn't malware, everything is solved.

I up a image of a confused transaction, when i sent 2 nav to electrum  and 8,000 nav desapear, but for my wallet not disappear, here is the confusion:

I have pleasure to connect a node, but with fewer coins. 100,000 coins are enough?

I will create a new account, i'm not going to risk, no more money.  Cheesy

What's the big order?
At Poloniex is nothing.

Before us increase NAV x5-x10, and perhaps more  Cool

Well said.
Currently, the accumulation before the next increase.
I advise you to fasten seatbelts.

What exactly does maxorphanblocks do?
I assume it specifies the maximum entries visible in the transaction list that are orphan blocks.
If that is the case why recommend 1000 instead of 0? Is there a problem if I use 0?
