How do I unlock wallet and stake

You need to encrypt your wallet 1st - set up a password.

Go to : "Settings" -> Encrypt Wallet (And don't forget your pass phrase!)

Then "Unlock" your wallet using your password.

Avast popped while a game was installing. A game with no installer was installing.

Post prove. Scan this pack with your avast and show me log file with Virus found.

Not sure how many of you are familiar with this software , but Eset security is what a lot of banks, ISPs and other companies that need high security use for their Internet security.... I downloaded this just now and scanned it with mine, there is nothing malice in the file sets end of story ....

User valta4065 already told that he played the game and he had no virus problems ... I was asking him to delete those posts about NON-existing problems with BanksyCoin game ... but he edited some of them instead of deleting them ... and still he left one where he wrote about it ...

Anyway I was 1000% about that everything is OK with it as I was checking it on my own.

block rewards are way too low on this coin to keep mining with too large of a coin supply....

Could we change the block time to something like 60-180 seconds or so? Right now it's way to fast, causing a lot of orphans and giant debug.log files. In case of mass adoption this would be a major headache.

I think the problem is, when difficulty is low, then blocks are solved, quicker than 60 seconds. I do not think there is much you can do about changing that, to be honest, apart from getting more people to mine, then the time between blocks will increase.

I would reduce the total number of coins, a billion is far too many for PoW these days. How many have been mined now?

This is a great coin, if you ended PoW in a week, you would get a lot more people mining it. At the moment there is just no hurry to accumulate

If I need to read an earlier message can someone point me to it rather than attempting to scroll back through 14 pages of messages.

reduce some coins so that the value of the coin should increase if that much coins is in circulation then it will make the coin value lower.

Are you hoping to use your CPU for mining or do you have a graphics card and if so, which kind?

CPU mining will get you not so many coins, but difficulty is lowish, so not completely worthless, you might be lucky.

I am CPU mining. Its on an unmodified iMac.

Have you updated the wallet to the newest version??

To specify my earlier post, this is just a short (boring) sequence what happens when you put a few MH/s on Banksycoin. Diff increase is limited, so a lot of valid block hashes are found waaay to fast. I don't think that's healthy for a coin.

I disabled the pool for now. So many blocks Hope diff retarget and block times change in the near future. I like banksycoin and the giveaways But for now it should be easy to solomine.

would be nice if someone did a solo mine guide so everyone can do this, I've never solo mined a coin cause the diff was always too high ....
