I had given up on this coin, but I am sooo happy the developers are moving forward with this as I believe this coin has the potential to be one of the top altcoins around!!

Linux - We will likely not be making Linux binaries available unless the demand is proven. For the most part Linux users like compiling their own binaries

A new name?
Thank you to everyone for their feedback and comments so far.

As things move forward and we attempt to increase the potential for this coin we want to maintain it’s intent but broaden it’s appeal.

The appreciation for artistry and rebelliousness stands out in the community of this coin. Artists are known for their willingness to step out from the crowd and make a statement about something they believe in. This is true of any artist. This is also true of cryptocurrency supporters, those who support decentralization. This is a rare time in history where opportunities exist for disciplines like art and technology to encourage and support the advancement of each other.

The original creator of Banksycoin intended for the coin’s name to be a tribute but we do not find this to be consistent with the intent of the coin or the spirit of cruptocurrency. We believe that the rebellious spirit lives through creative expression. We also believe the essence of cryptocurrency can empower artists. We want to build a community that promotes artistry and creativity for all. A community where creative freedom is protected by the benefits of decentralization through cryptocurrency.

As a result we will be renaming the coin to bring us closer to those goals.
That name will be announced very soon.
