I don't get it. This coin needs an 6 BTC investment to break through 60k. Usually you can't hide from fake buy orders to drive the price up. Whats happening with BTCD? You don't hear me saying this often, but can a whale please step up and push this baby a bit?

Thanks,

The Plankton Crew

P.S.

This coin is going to the dark side of the moon anyways.

I found a few problems with multisig support, one was just that "createmultisig" didnt exist, but "addmultisig" works pretty much the same, so no problem. A bigger issue was that multisig addresses just generated an error, even though everything was fine. I made small mods to keystore.cpp and rpcwallet.cpp so I can keep debugging.

I am 90% of the way finished with adding BTCD support to multigateway (MGW), which just got a web only release: https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/price-speculation/msg66648/#msg66648

Once this is working, there will be a multisig protected way to deposit BTCD and have it turn into something that can be traded using a decentralized exchange. At first it will be relatively slow with a 1 minute blocktime for trades, but InstantDEX will speed that way up. Once it is a NXT asset, I can do atomic exchanges safely.

Just got a valid looking multisig address created by the three MGW servers!
[{"result":{"isvalid":true,"address":"bYjsXxENs4u7raX3EPyrgqPy46MUrq4k8h","ismine":true,"isscript":true,"script":"multisig","hex":"52210203de827e93f06cfcdb97ed51564e3415b243f539c25eb8e81f78f4ff8fb8c64e210262999 9547c0a66186b162c630ec81625edc57e818aaa306f4a9d429a67e703c22102242b187f65df8a5b 47f13f303d065aee21aa9099a5ffa283ae29edf74d9dcf7953ae","addresses":["RJpStCNH2Y31Mi4oCGknTbZyWirQo8HVKd","RQSj3wmiW4Ny3eWR8H7nSc2cf9Hk275TET","RNdQKWujkoeSew9uVJFxWHfheTn3qvnZRF"],"sigsrequired":2,"account":""},"error":null,"id":"jl777"}

Now I will test deposit and withdraw functions and if that works, we can at least trade BTCD within NXT AE, but the key here is the ability to do offchain atomic exchanges once BTCD is in asset form

James

It seems the rawtransaction data only has the "asm" field and not the "hex" field. I guess trying to save space, but now I have to figure out how to cleanly convert the asm to hex to redeem the multisig deposits.
It is seeing the deposit coming in, now waiting to see if it creates the matching asset. Then the withdraw is pretty simple, so that is 75% that should work, but the last quarter is probably not something to be done after an all nighter, so it will have to be tomorrow before a full loopback BTCD -> asset -> BTCD

Its a funny situation, no one dares to dump or buy. I wonder when the volume will increase again? Some rumors about a Mintpal launch could help XD

I don't think it would hurt having it listed on as many exchanges as possible. Coin spreading...

yea big problems seems the dev there is mia

Dev said his father had a heart attack and he's been gone a whopping 24 hours, god people in crypto are paranoid or selfish. How on earth did early traders handle Satoshi disappearing for months?

Thanks solid,

Yes, my father had an emergency and thankfully he seems to be doing much better now.

Let's get this straight guys.  The devs have always been here, and will continue to be here.  We don't need to be here holding everyone's hand, and posting every 5 minutes.

We are continuing to make progress behind the scenes and will periodically show up to give updates and such.

Has anyone checked the OP and the website? I've been making updates all day.

Development continues to move forward.  If anyone has any concerns or questions I would ask them to pm me, otherwise lets let this whole, "oh no, the devs have abandoned us" mentality go.

sorry to hear i was reffering to the people at because. my best wishes are with u
