If you're stuck on block 20160 remove all of the addnodes except the original one and restart the daemon with a -rescan
and the blockchain will get past it.
we might want to revise the OP and remove all the addnodes except addnode=107.170.59.196

The coins on the exchange are just to play. Order book is thin as hell. An ounce of good news will blow this over 70k easily.

MP is paying out every 3 hours to anyone who has earned over 5 BTCD. Check the earnings section of BTCDPool.com to see the links to the block explorer. 4 TXNs posted last payout period, everyone else should see their balance on their my worker pages.

Hey it's my first post ever!! Just wanted to stop in and input a bit of my knowledge. I believe the next important steps include getting BTCD on mintpal and poloniex, writing the white paper, getting a new logo, a BTCD rich list, and implementing some features! We as a community need to be marketing BTCD to trollboxes and twitters! I have a large amount of BTCD, and I won't be selling any at all until we see 2 million or more market cap. The release of ViaCoin is sucking up the exchange volumes. We need to help people realize we have the same goals, with the anon features and decentralized exchange, but without the IPO pyramid scam. I agree with James that it shouldnt be rushed, but at the same time, the community needs to hear that things are happening along the way. One of the issues with the many alts today is that nothing is heard after PoW ends for too long. Let's produce results to create news! Bottom line, GET ACTIVE!!! This is how we will profit.

Also, it seems the block explorer is not functioning. This is also linked to Coinmarketcap and is likely the reason it does not show the total available supply accurately.
Anyone interested in building a proper block explorer?
I think ssdpool and Cryptobe and functioning fine (this happened to another coin also); The middle one doesn't work.

I submitted already a ticket to Mintpal. Without trying to bash them, why Mintpal? It would be nice, yes. But they do have big problems and it is not clear why they add certain coins. In my opinion they did add a few coins, because they were paid, e.g. ISIS. Don't get me wrong, I made a bit money with ISIS, but it is not exactly what everyone has expected from the exchange. I don't put high hopes in Mintpal and neither should you. I suggest we focus on other things to bring BTCD to the top

While I understand the hatred toward mintpal, it is a large step toward legitimacy. It also offers high volume trading, and brings liquidity to the table as a result. Not to mention the wider audience that it will allow access to.
Now, to get voted onto mintpal is a different story. Voted coins ALWAYS get dumped immediately upon arrival. If they won't add without voting, we should just stay away completely. Most experienced traders look at the voting list specifically to check coins NOT to invest in.

Only problem is Mintpal isn't a high volume exchange anymore. Bittrex has sucked it up

The more exchanges, the better. It's better for the distribution of the coin

well donated to help boost BTCD on atomic-trade, if mint pal wont take a donation they dont believe in this coin, and AE is right we need to stay away. Their volume is dropping 20% every couple of days on mintpal anyways lol. That's a pretty large donation! A bounty that size for the creation of a new symbol would surely rake in some creativity! The symbol is very important in my opinion. The one we have now isn't very flashy. I also think a nice sparkly GUI would be fantastic for a new wallet.

But Im trying to figure out when the nxt features are going to be integrated into the coin to begin an anonymous IPO.

We're opening for testing. Limited # of coins to start with and we're open to suggestions on coins to add so long as they tend to be profitable. BitcoinDark by xpool - BTCD Multipool PROP reward system BTCD Payouts Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's DDoS Protected High Performance Backend Simple setup and usage 0% Fees while in BETA To mine: How does it work?
xpool offers 3 different sets of coins to mine. SHA256, Scrypt and X11. Each algorithm runs on a shift. Currently there is no set interval as there needs to be enough found and confirmed blocks to make trading worthwhile on the exchanges. We don't want to finish a shift only to find out, the exchanges are going to eat up the payout in fees or limit the withdraw with a large minimum. The confirmed coins are traded throughout the duration of the shift automatically to maximize the profits from exchanging them into BTCD. Once enough confirmed blocked are accumulated, the shift is moved into "Trading" status while all the exchanged coins are calculated into BTCD and then queued for payment. Once all the coins are confirmed as successfully traded and exchanged, the BTCD payments are sent.
As the pool picks up more hashing speed and sufficient BTCD can be picked up from the exchanges, the shifts will be set to a schedule and payouts more frequent and less worry about the exchanges. This is a growing phase so the more hash support the better. If a DRK block is found, there's no exchanging or loss of fees as it can simply be moved into the X11 payout queue.
The advantage of the pool is that you can utilize your older ASIC equipment to earn you the more desired BitcoinDark. Cheers and Happy Hashing!
Donations welcome!
Any issues, please report them here or feel free to PM me, as I can't always see every post.
PoW is done and looks like people are moving over to the multipool. I encourage all ALGO's to come over. There are already 150+ BTCD queued to be sent tonight at the end of the shift. At this rate, I hope we can have a shift complete every 24 hours and then you will get BTCD every 24 hours. Cheers! joined your pool this morning, when does the shift end and payouts happen? Shifts will roll over tonight and payout sent. Typically shifts will be 24-36 hours to ensure a healthy payout. If you haven't already noticed, payments have been sent for the first shift! Over 334 BTCD sent today. http://dark.xpool.ca/profitsThanks for your support. Cheera and Happy Hashing!

So it seems as though where we stand now in trading is the upside down pyramid, signifying a look to breakout. It is possible it could collapse though. Exciting to watch at least

Attn Miners: anybody who invested their BTC hashrate mining for BTCD might as well commit to the long term betterment of BTCD by pointing their SHA rigs at stratum+tcp://mine.btcdpool.com:5555 This will mine the seven most profitable SHA altcoins and auto exchange them for BTCD - putting constant buy presure on the exchanges and helping drive the price up. If we could even get 100 TH of miners, we would see literally 2-3 BTC worth of buy orders every 24 hours. The pool is paying out every 3 hours, 3 shifts have paid out thus far.
