Very wonderful progress being made! Thanks, as ever, James.
I'd love to know the motives of the dumper.

I think this is a fundamental difference between SuperNET and BlockNET: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829576.msg9313526#msg9313526
Please feel free to chip in to whatever discussion results. I just can't see how BlockNET will compare from a revenue-generation point of view.

There is an odd silence in the BlockNET thread about this... I will bump it again in the morning if I don't get an answer, though I suspect things are going on in the background.

Great point you bring up here Cassius!  Your question is definitely getting some play in the Blocknet forum now.  I've seen many asking for clarity and have NOT seen any answers which clearly explain a direct answer to the qustion.  Very slick Mister!  Wink

Peace

they've answered, the guy puts on like his smart, but always lies regarding how SuperNET works in comparisons. Guess is the price drop in XC show's not many people really on board with the clone.

 Smiley Thanks
In the BTT thread or a separate forum?
We'll see where this goes. I'd think they will aim to bring in some sources of greater revenue to make it more attractive.

After going through the XC devs' more recent posts, I feel they lack the ability or smarts to manage something that huge (from a financial and economical standpoint).  In my opinion, that's one of the major differences between Supernet and Blocknet.  James has a very firm understanding of all this stuff in addition to his coding ability.  It's even hard to tell if XC devs can pull it off from a developmental standpoint since they are currently closed source and no one can check the progress being made.  Yet another major difference.

Wow, the network weight is only like 52K.   There must be a lot of less people staking, or either they have their coins on the on the exchanges.

You should only stake faster but the amount is still 5% per year.
though you will get more transactions fees and compound interest - so in the end you will get more

The data center DDoS protection is triggered due to some botnets flooding the ports the past 36 hours. Keep trying it will eventually analyze your connection and tag it legit.

Unless of course it's you with the 600+ ip connections... Then you'll always get that Smiley

Nope there isn't. It requires a multipool to get paid in btcd.

Hmmm, wallet not syncing.  Is the configuration file in the OP correct?  Tried deleting everything and re-installing, but still doesn't seem to be working.

It started syncing as soon as I made the "d" in the Bitcoindark.conf file a lowercase.

Can the OP please be revised to read "Bitcoindark.conf" instead of the current "BitcoinDark.conf"?

Aptidude, this is a known issue. If you wait about 30 min with the wallet open, it'll connect to nodes automatically. My wallet running with BitcoinDark.conf file. No lowercase "d" need.

Sometimes, it just take some extra time to connect to other nodes. Otherwise, everything is fine.

I think I'd rather earn a little less and have peace of mind knowing the network is as strong as it can be (or as strong as it once was).  It's concerning to me that the network stake has dropped so low in the last week or two Huh.  I know there has been some major dumping, but i was hoping the new owners of all these coins would be strengthening the network.  Doesn't seem to be the case though Undecided
