We have just bounce from the last bottom price. if that gets retested and fails it means there isn't enough buying power at the crucial level. then we go down sub 500k and still be within the long downtred

actually we have been gradually climbing from the bottom set mid to late nov. I am looking at bitcoinwisdom 3 day charts
the long term average (blue line) is doing quite nicely, while short term price action could certainly drop it below 500K for a while, the downtrend that started in end of Sep looks like it is running out of power

If you look at the bottoms made in Oct, Nov and Dec, each one is higher than the last. Considering the bot keeps trying to push the price down (currently a zillion orders of 5 BTCD sells stuffing the orderbook) it is making good progress.

If the bot ever decides to flip to pushing the price up, with all the sellers that have sold last months, who is left to sell?

James

That's what I've been asking myself since November.  Seems like all the WH and impatient whales must be shaken out by now..... guess we'll find out sooner than later Smiley

Whats the relevance of this number you keep putting under your posts?

It is the network staking weight.

Because why?
SuperNET has risen recently, but BTCD will receive dividends too. Potentially a very nice complement to UNITY. Wouldn't want to be without any.

how is selling the ICO at slightly more than book value overpriced?

clearly you have not done any research on SuperNET it has a new OP: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762346.msg8592943#msg8592943

Also it is #2 on http://coinmarketcap.com/assets/ and half a dozen more assets in the top 20 are part of superNET. There are almost 300 people in the SuperNET slack.

Thanks for answering these questions Torrn and crackfoo.  I became fascinated with the network weight awhile back and that turned into me sorta using it as a signature.  I can look back through my posts and somewhat track the NW stake over a period of time, if that makes sense Smiley
