I like this idea.never done before so it's innovation.
but is it legal?
it would be a shame to put time and effort in it and at the end it turns out to be against the law

It'd be totally legal in the UK Cheesy But I know online gambling is a no no in USA. Correct me if I'm wrong.

We are looking into the technicalities of this as part of the dev team is based in the US. We do like the idea.

If pokershibes managed to stay in business, and everybody plays for dogecoins... Probably there is a way around everything gambling related... I mean there are so many altcoin gambling/betting sites...

The other option is for a 3rd party entity to set one up and we can include it in the wallet. That way if the service gets taken down, the coin can stay.

This could work. We could donate a bounty for it.

I bet a couple of already established online poker rooms could easily develop this for a fee.

Thank you @tradeofthecrypt for running an APEX giveaway on twitter especially since I won hehe!  Cheesy

A built in casino sounds cool but how legit is enterra?  I did a search and some people were saying they charge 500 bucks a month...if that's the case then I think maybe try to get added to l8.io casino.

The 500 a month may have been an old policy. In their response, they claim to handle all server costs, only requiring 1 btc up front. I am trying to get confirmation on the specifics. l8.io has not replied to me yet unfortunately, I do like what they have done for cloak.

APEX you need to approach Pokerstars. Show them how if they use APEX for transactions they could save millions in taxes!! I'm sure those cowboys will be interested. Worth a try. lolz. Then APEX will be HUGE.  Grin

We are pleased to announce that we will be releasing wallet v2.1 tomorrow. For this update, we have moved the toolbar so that the pages fit better, and to make room for more features. The wallet will now also allow users to log into twitter, facebook, and webchat irc. As always, here is a screen shot of the new wallet:

In other news, APEX has also been added to CryptoSpecs, an Android app that feeds data from CoinMarketCap and CoinChoose. For more information, you can read their official thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=537548.0

And you can download it from google play here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kyriakosalexandrou.cryptospecs

Also, regarding poker, this sounds like something the community wants, and we feel it should work nicely with our wallet, so we will continue to pursue leads.
