Roll Eyes

Mind if I ask, which member of the group actually talks through this account? and why do you not release coins under your own name ?  for example, moosa says that cryptcoin was his own personal creation, but then uses another completely new account to make the release thread?

Old news, your repeating same shit from last week.

I must have missed that, are you saying that we already know who is behind the "keycoin" account they created 3 weeks ago?

Thats because when this all goes to shit you cant harass one of their team members when they screw you. Everyone is going after Moosa about Crypt now. So they post under keycoin so no one can find out who they are. Its pretty easy to see. When they dump and leave this coin you can only blame keycoin and not a well known member.

Keycoin Dev Update - 8/6/2014

Just a quick update on KeyOS project. We're moving along well and have persistence in our base of Tails OS working fully. Here is a screenshot of the bootup screen for those who like pretty things. You can choose between Live with persistence and without. Using KeyOS with persistence will give you a saved blockchain and wallet you can use repeatedly. Using KeyOS without persistence will give you a "temporary" wallet you can use to transact funds, and the wallet and all local traces of your activity will be lost after shutdown.

More updates soon. Everyone is working hard!

Cannot wait to use KeyOS !

Loving the forthcoming KeyOS guys, looking very slick.

Looks incredible guys! Loving it. And Have a look at the coin, it bounced mostly back from that noob that dumped earlier. We will back at 200 in no time Cheesy Cheesy

The lead dev has been verified by a external source : http://www.coinssource.com/crypto-coins/keycoin/

To achieve the maximum trust rating they had to provide:

  • Email address – Verified email address (1 point)
  • Bitcointalk forum ID – Verify by private message or post if the account is greater than 3 months old (1 point)
  • Social media – Verify by a Tweet, post to Coins Source’s timeline on Facebook or a private message via social media (1 point)
  • Mobile phone – Verify by text message (1 point)
  • Mailing address – Verify by post card (we send a post card and you send us a code that will be on the post card via email) (1 point)
  • State ID or license – Send us a photograph of your drivers license (2 points)

Im pretty sure they are only missing one point from their rating due to waiting for the snail mail to arrive and verify the code that was posted to them or that the webmaster is yet to update the rating.

I would also hypothesise that the BCT account has more than one user. Done for clarity of communication, saves answering "who are you?" all the time. Devs post under a single dev account (as do many coins).  I suspect its because mosts teams have programmers and what-not that specialise in certain areas and can post with greater clarity about their area of expertise.

So let me get this straight, on that site, you can gain trust just by owning an email account, owning a BCT account, owning a mobile phone, and owning a twitter account, sending a picture of a license etc, answering a letter etc? can you explain what kind of trust this actually builds? what is to stop me from creating a twitter account, an email account, a BCT account , buying a $20 phone, and finding a picture of a license online, paying some idiot to accept a letter for me? if I did all that would I all of a sudden be a trusted/verified dev? I don't think so.  like you just said, that account is probably used by multiple people , yet they get one overall verification that doesn't seem very complete.

What previous projects has this lead dev worked on that makes him "verified"?

LOL serious? Is this like the NASDAQ of Alts....

To achieve the maximum trust rating they had to provide:

Email address – Verified email address (1 point) - Anyone can make a fake email address
Bitcointalk forum ID – Verify by private message or post if the account is greater than 3 months old (1 point) - Anyone can make a fake BCT account
Social media – Verify by a Tweet, post to Coins Source’s timeline on Facebook or a private message via social media (1 point) - Anyone can make a fake social media address
Mobile phone – Verify by text message (1 point) - Anyone can make a fake phone account
Mailing address – Verify by post card (we send a post card and you send us a code that will be on the post card via email) (1 point) - Anyone can get get a PO box
State ID or license – Send us a photograph of your drivers license (2 points) - Anyone can get a fake ID from anywhere in the world

So they do not verify anything about the actual user and that person financials. NOTHING ABOUT FINANCIALS I MEAN WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. Just need fake accounts to be verified. Im investing in these coins but instead I should really be creating garbage coins and getting them verified. I guess its the only way to make money.

Have you ever been onto a TOR black market and seen the fake ID's?

Anyway,  what does all of this prove ? you say "lead dev is verified"  like it actually means something, all that proves is that somewhere, a person exists. I don't see how it means anything to the credibility of this coin.

The unpresistant feature of this seems like a really cool security feature, I like this project.

KeyCoin devs don't post their real addresses and dox because of the amount of unbalanced and obbessive people in the altcoin world. People seem to think the devs control the prices, and threaten their lives and cause trouble for them if things don't go perfectly.

Our main dev's identity was verified by coins source, they keep this info private for themselves. If you aren't satisfied with this, I would kindly ask that you go invest in a project you feel better about, instead of attacking ours for multiple ANN pages.

Now, back to work Smiley

How was mains devs identity verified? Coinsource verification makes no sense, Any dev could have paid someone in a different country to get "verified" using their own address,  phone and driving licence, how does anyone know that the person they verified is even a dev?  Do you really think this method of verifying coin devs proves anything?

I don't know if this coin is going to overtake LTC and become anonymous "silver" to bitcoins gold....but what I do know is that the roadmap layed out details many months of development for some great ideas to be delivered. And with so many whales in the forefront and background of this coin it can only mean pumps and new floors. I can't wait.

Newbie account here, but as I have invested in key I'm very keen to see it progress. I'm holding onto mine because I believe in the devs and the coin. Up to you guys if you don't your choice. But I don't understand why bother coming and posting here if all you do is talk shit.

Because they get high off this shit. Every page view, every reply is gratification. They don't live for the truth they live for the game. Ask a fuder if what they do gratifies them or edifies them. It's all so superficial. Such wasted effort that just hurts legitimate players. If you don't like a coin LEAVE. Just like 99% of the legitimate population does. These people don't get how weird and pathetic they come across.

And the best thing is they are only relevant to themselves. ZERO impact on long-term price. What a useless life.
