Does miami wizz actually owns Lamborghini's Huh

Not yet, but the way things are progressing, if you own 100,000+ IOC no doubt in a year or so, you will be able to pay for a Lamborghini in cold hard cash!

hopefully sometime in future we could just pay direct with i/o coin itself....

and dam...who needs lambo when rocket science is just one of your hobbies....as i think that previous picture is of joel working on his space ship.

After IOC was featured in the FinTech article.

I can see a nice slow and steady rise from here.

Feel sorry for the Dumpers who sold below 5k, that was a really bad move!

I/OCoin is not going to drop below 4k now... To infinity and beyond!

Now patiently waiting for DIONS and the new Wallet.

Onename  is now using the Bitcoin BLockchain.

http://cointelegraph.com/news/115270/onename-drops-namecoin-switches-to-bitcoin?ref=45

I think a smarter move would of been to use I/O Coins blockchain, but i guess its not ready yet?

Hello everyone... Just a quick Update..

Pat and Ophie continue on with the work on the wallet implementation. The team has proposed to Derek some changes to the messaging api for the wallet. They are currently being looked at by Derek. Aside from that if it all goes well, we should be seeing a testnet wallet with Dions integrated by next week.

I will keep you all updated and if you have any more questions feel free to join us in slack

Cheers!

GOOD QUESTION!

Look at Staking Like Fishing.

If you have your "line" in the water 24/7.  You are going to catch more "fish" than someone who just throws the line in "now and then" for several hours at a time.

Remember, when coins stake, your wallet is competing against other wallets to win the stake "reward".

So the longer you can stake in one continuous session, the better.

I am unable to stake 24/7.  But i simply stake from the moment i wake up, till the moment i go to sleep, which is often from 8am to 10pm.  7 days a week. I get good stake rewards.

Also, referring back to the "fishing example"
I understand, the more Hooks you have in the water, the more likely you will catch.
Meaning, the more coins you have staking, the more likely you will get the rewards, as your staking "weight" will be greater.

So. The more coins you have, the longer you stake in one go (without disruption) the more coins you should be able to "win"

Hope that helps.

sorry i have a follow up question. haha this coin says it has 2% interest rate? what is that annual interest? if so, is it fixed even if you dont stake 24/7?
like scenario 1 you stake 24/7 you get 2% a year
scenario 2 you just stake whenever you want and you still get 2% a year or if you just stake whenever you want you will get less of 2%
scenario 3 you get more than 2% if you stake 24/7?

Just taking a quick look at the first page and top image it says

"2% Constant Intrest"
So it should be a case of when ever you are staking you get 2%.

To be honest, staking rewards is a bit of a mystery there are several variables, the number (percentage) of people staking will also determine  your chances of getting stake rewards, the higher the percentage, the more people staking, the less likely you are to get  the reward.

Staking reward system for ALL POS coins is plain overcomplicated and hard to understand.

I/O Coin should work on this fact and be the First coin to make rewards much more simplified.

So for now.
The only way to work things out is to stake daily.
Record the number of hours each day.

Then in your wallet, Transaction Tab.
second drop down menu, select MINED.

And note down how many coins you got for that day.

See what you have over the week.

Rinse and repeat, then in 4 weeks Add up the total hours
Divide this by the total coins received
and  you will have a very good idea of how many coins you will get per day (24hrs).

Also, when it comes to staking, extra coins are simply a bonus, the most important reason for staking is to secure the network.

To be fair, anyone using Shapeshift is completely stupid.

always terrible rates, Right now IOC is trading at a average price of 4500 Sats

If you sell on Shapeshift right now, they will give you the appalling rate of 2988 Sats

A massive Loss of 30% exchange value.

I would advise anyone to stay well clear of these ripp of merchants,  should be called ShapeShifty  !

If anyone here wants to sell IOC make a post here and get a much better rate.

I seriously don't get you, how can you be this rude about a respectable business that has managed to raise millions of dollars over the last couple of months. It's mainly used to exchange small amounts of currency (around 0.02 to 0.03 btc the last time I checked). I don't think that warrants calling its users "stupid" nor the does it make the exchange "shifty" and a "rip off". Your username is misleading by the way, as the kind of tips you have been giving recently definitely don't bring IOcoin any positive promotion whatsoever. Thank you ShapeShift for your update

Really?  So you think it is a "respectable Business" to give people 30% less than market value.

Because i dont.  I see it as ripping people off.  End of story.

But, EVERYONE is entitled to their view.

Have a nice day.
