Actually, that's a good way to solve it. For 150 games, I can increase the bonus-pool by 20,000 bits in each game. That would be 3 BTC of giveaways, for one action-packed hour =)
sounds good. And it'll probably end up +EV.

Anytime at any game starts, every player who played in it will receive 100,000 BITS divided by total players who played , that can be a cool celebration.
That could get expensive quickly, not sure I could afford that for long But I like the idea very much. I could perhaps do something like 10,000 bits per game given out for two or three hundred games. What would you prefer, if it was given out weighted by the amount bet? (e.g. If someone bets .9 BTC and someone else bets .1 BTC, the larger gambler gets 9000 free bits, and the smaller gambler 1000 free bits). Or would you prefer it more of a lottery, where each bit you bet gives you 1 ticket? (So the person who bets .9 BTC would have a 90% chance of winning, and the smaller gambler a 10%) Or something else? The lottery-style bonus sounds more attractive to me. We're rapidly approaching the 100,000 BTC wagered mark (probably only a month off), anyone have some good ideas how we should celebrate this milestone?
Sorry for a dumb question, where can we see the site total wagered?

The lottery style isnt a good system, the reward should be given to those who wagered higher . So the first is better because if someone risk a higher stake than the other, he deserve to win more than the others but the problem will be what if several people bet the maximum amount 1 btc and cash out at 1.01 x?

Then how its a giveaway ? Its rather sounds like high paying faucet for high wager people, well maybe everyone has his own choice

In the lottery style version, the number of tickets you get depends on the number of bits you wagered in that round. So those players wagering more will have a higher chance to win the 10000 bits in that round.

So if you saw the admin's post he mentioned adding an 20,000 bits to the bonus pool each game as a solution.

I know but those who wagered higher have more chance to lose than those who wagered a little , you can still win even if you are not a high roller because you could be lucky in the lottery. Those who risk more should be given the more reward and not those who wager a little

So it looks like its going to be distributed not like a lottery but through the bonus payouts system. Which means they payout by giving more money to people who bet later. (Also weighted by bet size).

Yes thats , I think this is the best solution since everyone will be getting bonus depending on what he wagered. Lottery style prevent everyone from getting it. Also since this is a giveaway/celebration of 100k btc wagered, I think Ryan could add some bonus as well for those who busted before cashing out.

Deposits (And more importantly: withdrawals) will still be processed, but the game is out of action

Yeah sorry, a horrible hack. I just did that so I didn't have to take the entire site offline. Wanted people to know their money is safe and accessible, even though the game wasn't.

Neat indeed but I do like the previous one better (perhaps I am accustomed to it )but atleast with this new layout there will be enough space for you to add timestamp to the chat. Basically the previous layout is so cramped that adding a timestamp to the chat is not really an option. The chatbox is a bit too small , perhaps you could make it bigger by adjusting it with the chart since the chart is taking almost 1/2 of the entire screen though

Thanks, and good ideas. We'll definitely add the timestamp thing too. We've been optimizing the new client a bit more for mobile now: https://www.bustabit.com/play-new

Eh, it looks nice except for the panel on the right - that seems like it could be made a little more aesthetically pleasing. At the moment I'd prefer using the current design compared to the new design, really just because of the relative ugliness of the panel on the right in the new design.
