So, he kind of lost around 82 BTC in a day (if you compare the extremes). In other news, Bustabit now has a bankroll of 372 btc, so that 82 btc house profit constitutes 22% of it. https://www.bustabit.com/statsI am not sure whether that is right. I think you are. If I am reading things right, the bankroll stays the same, and the profit increased by 82 BTC to 506 BTC or it is the usual thing, but the investors withdrew few hundreds of bitcoins, more than they invested (from the profit of course). Is profit part of bankroll as normally done?

When a player wins, it takes from the bankroll and when a player loses it adds to the bankroll. But the reason for the big discrepancy between the bankroll and total profit, is because the site started with a bankroll (money I put in), and every so often I've withdrawn money for the bankroll to pay for expenses. And if the site needed, I'd put more money into the bankroll (which almost happened once, when the max profit fell below 1 btc). In effect the bankroll is a sort of soft number that caps my total liability, and is small enough that I can easily prove I hold that amount of money.

If anyone wants to watch a show, realhavok has made almost +30 BTC in the last hour, and still betting 1 BTC/round This is show! He bets 1B every round it is exciting to watch, but unfortunately he is down 11B at the moment. Edit: -20 BTCThat's a ridiculous amount of betting, even if he's down! Dang! Looks like he regained some, though. He's only down 11B again. looks like he's making a huge comeback! instead of being down -20BTC he's now +20BTC! https://www.bustabit.com/user/realhavokHe is magician! Come and watch, he is betting right now! If he got that much of bitcoin why he always bet 1 btc with 2.xx multiplier? Why dont he just use 10 btc aim 1.02 for he will end up winning a lot with that kind of things. This is just so ridiculous even if he's down he never want to stop. He is such a great whale

Bustabit doesn't allow that, as it enforces maximum bets of 1 BTC. Unlike traditional dice sites, we have a floating house edge (0% to 0.99%). So cashing out at 1.02x has very close to 0 house edge which would start to become untenably risky if we allowed unlimited bet sizes. By the time you're trying to cashout at 2x, the house edge is now ~0.5% which at least justifies taking the risk (from the our perspective)

I was running a script at 1.02x, starting at 1 bit, and within 500 rolls it had already busted (0.00, 1.01, 1.00). At 1 BTC, that'd be (using a theoretical unlimited capped bet) 1+10+100 = 111 BTC lost right there, with a total gain of 5 BTC or a net loss of ~106 BTC. I've also had a 4x and 5x bust but took more times for that to happen (that would be a 1111 and 11111 BTC loss, respectively).

How is the crash point calculated?
Is crashing at precisely 1.02x and crashing at precisely 99.21x has the same probability? I doubt so. Can you make it clear? Can it crash at 99.21x??
Edit: I mean the distribution is not even, or is it? I think it does not have the same difference in probability for crashing at two immediately near points.
Edit2: I can say, it does not work like dice, where a similar working would have 1 in 101 chance for hitting any number, but it would have a max of 100. So how does it exactly work?
At 0% house edge, it would have 50% chance of crossing 2x. 33.33% chance of crossing 3x, 25% chance of crossing 4x, and so on?

Hmm maybe this can help you in this https://www.bustabit.com/faq#crash-point , couldn't understand much of it(but I'll edit the post accordingly if I do) as I'm not much of a coder.

On the game page, the max profit is shown as 10.97 btc while on the stats page the max win is 11.178 btc. Ryan, could you take a look at the discrepancy?
Yeah, something I've been meaning to fix. The stats page makes a rough approximation of the bankroll, and is a little bit off. The exact bankroll is what you see in game (Get the max profit and divide by 3%) I see. Thanks for the clarification. In effect the bankroll is a sort of soft number that caps my total liability, and is small enough that I can easily prove I hold that amount of money.
It must be feeling great when you are able to call 300+ btc as a "small enough" amount. How is the crash point calculated?

The chat is now hugely improved. Multi-lingual people can subscribe to multiple channels at once, and see the unread messages of each. And now all users are assigned a random color!
This is awesome! Can you also highlight messages that come to your name. For example @rhavar would always be highlighted on your screen so you can see who's talking to you specifically?

Ah, I've never had someone do @myname before, so I'm not 100%. Just figured it wasn't part of it yet, :p. Usually it's one of the last things anyone implements.

Nice change, but what is that icon of the Chinese chat room? It doesn't quite look like the Chinese national flag.

Have to say, I have been playing for about 25 minutes now and it is fun and profitable if you play right. You can not be greedy and try to take the bank, for you never will, so just play for the long term. you can make 5% a day easy if you do that. (just my opinion)

Not content with a mere 25 BTC in profit, phoking has come back and taken his spot on the all-time leaderboard! That's 41 BTC of net profit, over only 159 BTC wagered. that's pretty insane but if mrslost keeps it up he will surpass that 41btc profit with under a 150 btc wagered, i no it's very unlikely it's gonna be cool to look back on this post and see how much they lost/won from this point in time

And lady luck is still on his side, and he has a net profit of 54 BTC now ( https://www.bustabit.com/user/phoking). Max profit on Bustabit is now down to 6.80 btc.
