I can't seem to find network hashrate graph and data fo XCN. How can one calculate how many XCNs is 3 MHs mining a day? Your hashrate / Network hashrate * blocks per day (1440) * XCN per block (242 currently, I think) Thanks. If we fill in the blanks: getnetworkhashps

You mean 4.600.000 instead of 3.100.000? That increases the productivity by 48%, to 2.49 US$ / day. Even if you get spot instance for 0.1 US$/hr, you invested 2.40 US$ to return 2.49 US$ per instance, just to break even. Now, when you get the nethash, don't get the current estimate, get the average over the last 1440 blocks. And keep in mind that Tokyo g2.2 pricing is now 0.055 USD/hr. And this is why everyone loves Wolf0 =D Also CPU miner in Tokyo is what I was using, around 25% rejects due to latency I guess. We need a EU pool, or, a second pool for that matter any way. |

Any plans to port the miner to opencl, so ATI miners could (re)join the fun?
I got involved in the CPU stage but now I am out as I have no NVIDIA.
I wish I was able to make an AMD miner myself but unfortunately am not...

What's wrong with cuda on Ubuntu? I have managed to install on Mint 17 that is derived from Ubuntu 14. Theres an error loading the driver. "Cannot load symbol..." But I had to jump through some loops to even get the driver to compile, so i was asking to see if there was a better AMI to use... |

Speaking of pools and mining, any new CPU miners out there?
Anyone planning on starting another pool? I've got some servers that could host one if it's easy to setup, but I'm not pool expert(or Linux expert either)

The public miner is about 3.0-3.1mh. |

XCN is being dumped by miners at dirt cheap price. I know because I am a miner. It is time to accumulate these coins at a great bargain. No. All coins (except BTC) are becoming cheaper and cheaper, cheaper and cheaper. So plenty of coins don't needed. I think pump of XCN already was and price never will grow up, it will always only fall. |

I think pump of XCN already was and price never will grow up, it will always only fall. Yes, investors are pulling out from most alt coins. They are putting their cash into BTC (which is 'safe') and new coins with innovative features that can become the next 'Bitcoin'. If XCN's innovation can capture the attention of the investors, it will grow. But XCN is still at very early stage (a week or two?). It will take time. Which is just as well. The coin and the community need to be built up. This is the time to do so. |

Miners are dumping to ROI. It is slowing down because the price has come to a point where it is hardly break-even for them. Let's see if more miners begin to see future growth value of the coin and start holding. |
