I think we need to figure out an incentive for the developer or developers who are going to take over.

Why you guys discuss those things in public?  Huh

You really searching for a new dev now? I like this coin but now I sold on ~5-10% loss. Sorry but this is to much risk for me at the moment.

Much prefer open discussion than random surprises or people trading on inside info. This coin in particular should be aware of how those things work out.

This coin is so screwed now. So much trust has been lost. So many people lost money. Honestly it's better to let this ghost cross over. It had potential but that time has passed. It's far too late for a new dev. That should have been done before it hit btc38. The damage is done. This coin is done. There are far better coins out there at the moment that have delivered over and over. Whale and Jefferson did a great job with PR.

Yep, transparent is good. It`s good that we have an open discussion.

We all know that we have been without a lead developer. Not that it is a major issue right now as we have Smoke team working on 3 coming projects. Smoke has been offered to take on Voot if they want, but they do have their own coin in the works too.

The two friends of Jefferson sounds interesting, that could also be a solution.

So lets see how this will develop.

I agree. This was such a bad coin for me to get into. I regret my decision immensely. I had a funny feeling when questions about the nature of the exchange were being raised. I should have listened to my gut.

So stop asking. Obviously, the PR team can't force the Smokers to cough up info...  Grin

If they can't even answer basic questions, what is this hole project even about?
This exchange is already a complete failure and doomed for several reasons people have mentioned here a few times already.

Stay safe guys. Don't invest more then you are willing to lose. This is coin is an high risk gamble.

The things you want answered are pointless to answer until the exchange is launched, nothing will be done with the info if they give it to you except throw it back in their faces when something isn't 100% as described. Maybe you could sleep better if you know the answers but that's about it. Not like anyone's going to invest in VOOT based on the anon exchange news, until it's launched anyway.

Thats so stupid! Launching an exchange without having a plan what to do with it !

Guys do you open a burger place without thinking where your customers are? When you think just a bit critical you would see that you just try to write this because you want your investment going up.

--snip--

... sorry if i missed something I didnt read the last 8 pages.

I would agree with everything you say that I didn't snip out if we were in control, but we're not. So why are we planning what to do with something we don't have control of? The devs and smoke team are in control, at least until someone forks it away from them. We think we have some control because we can voice ourselves and influence the outcomes, but really it's only influence, not control, so any questions we might have are irrelevant until we get the product, taking the past reputation and sources into consideration. Same thing with the ASIC market, questions and promises are irrelevant until we get the product.

+1 to the above

Better to have the actual product first and take it from there.

Honestly, at this point it does not seem like there is a active lead dev for Voot. MsCollec has been very inactive and the only posts he makes here are to argue with other community members which is just very pointless at this time.

The only devs working on Voot right now are the (outsourced) SMOKE devs. They still have quite a bit to work on after the anon exchange, the VootMarket most notably. However, there are no plans for any other development after that.h

I have my own connections with very qualified devs who can take over the project but that will need to take some planning.

We can also elect a new dev and form a Voot Foundation if we really want to help steer this coin in the right way. I think we need a leader and not just PR. What do you guys think? Does anyone know any devs who may be interested in taking over the Voot project? Who wants to be a part of the Voot foundation and to help turn things around?

We need to work together as a community if we want to have any chances of succeeding.

There are a lot of undercover FUDsters here, people who pretend they're in the long haul with Voot but really are just waiting for the next pump to dump their coins. I can tell who is who and there are already some who have decided to show their true colours, not naming any names in particular but it's pretty obvious.

I need your honest feedback guys.

WTF?? Nice timing. A mutiny is not what this coin needs, especially right now! A structured team of devs, technical writers and PR people is what it needs to provide professional support to the voot brand. Delivery of the anon exchange is MsCollec's chance to demonstrate his leadership role on this project. If he succeeds then the community can work with him to fill in the holes. If he fails then perhaps there will be grounds for a rescue mission but until then I'm afraid you have just been taken in by all the recent fud and may well have provided the final nail in the coffin.  I'm astonished that you thought this post was a good idea.

MsCollec leadership? Not so much lately. I certainly don`t want him touching Voot anymore.

There is no mutiny here. We have no DEV besides Smoke that`s helping us.

The frontmen of Voot is Whale, Jeffersson and Smoke who works for us right now.

Smoke team has been commissioned by MsCollec to produce the three products. Who do you think they will deliver them to?

Shit happens...
clumsiness on twitter/forum (because a deadly illness of a dev's relative) caused the last 65sat dump

He's still a good dev that bring Voot to 2k sat... a bit awkward to handle pr alone but now we got a -very- good pr team

He paid for Market, Cloud and AnonEX, he should still be here till it's delivered
