Sadly you don't have any choice in the matter.  Low volume exchanges will list a coin whether you like it or not.  The only way to defend against those exchanges setting a value that is low due to low volume is to get your coin listed on high volume exchanges. 

The dev has 111 btc from an IPO for development.  I am sure he can buy this coin's way on to every major exchange.  If he lets C-cex, allcoin, lazycoin or whatever other low volume exchange dictate the price of this coin I am guessing people won't be happy.
