We are trying to do things differently.
Spreadcoin's masternodes are not simply copy pasted from DRK.

They have been developed from the ground up in a different way.

Who said that DRK is the only coin allowed to use specialized nodes (masternodes) as an additional actor in the network?

I even wish we would stop calling those nodes masternodes.

How about we call them servernodes? Or spreadnodes?

It doesn't fit a decentralized coin to use centralized words like "master".

SpreadSeeds is another great name. Anything to distance ourselves from DRK. If we ride their apron strings then we can only be as popular as they are, and they can only be as popular as Bitcoin is.
