On a side note I feel somewhat disappointed that ZenPool doesn't show the total hashrate anymore. It was fairly cheap geeky entertainment to watch it achieve all those milestones: larger than the largest Scrypt pool, larger than all Scrypt altcoins, more than 25% LTC, etc. I was really looking forward to 51% LTC and a hard evil fork 

At their current claimed growth rate they can 51% Ltc in about 2 weeks...

Ya for trustworthy hash rate reporting!!

There are some more subtle quirks, like for example how they claimed they were running out of datacenter space and raised hashlet price from $16 to $20 to $25. Or how they had it all hashing for months as an explanation for why there was no sudden increase in network hashrates recently. And generally, whenever the validity of your claims is in any doubt the best course of action is to double them up

The 12 hour doubling is just a promotion and it is just GAW matching earnings for 12 hours.   It isn't 100% more mining.    Also the claim from GAW is the pool MHs has existed for a while so the growth is new hashing it is just allocation of hashing they already had.

On topic I haven't had an issue with the hashlets so far - far as I am concerned I used profits to buy some and if I make profits (which I already have after buying them for 16 a piece)  then whatever.

After spending about $20,000 in total with GAW from almost day 1 I would have to say that I'm in the red with $15,000 from the beginning.
No wonder they have money to spend on domains/companies, they ripped a ton of us off from the beginning.

The falcon went from $1500 to $500 to $300 within 2-3 weeks, while my chances of fully getting a return went from 80% to 0%.

I hosted most of my hardware from home and made some cash at the beginning, the rest was hosted with ZenCloud.. now I changed my ZenCloud crap to Hashlets.
Its all a huge hoax and my 10 year old son could do the math and easily tell me that Gawminers & ZenMiners is the worse investment you'll make in your life besides Cars and Woman

Typically buying a NEW asic for full price for scrypt is not a good idea. You could've literally gone anywhere else and expected this to happen.
