Today I have paid the prime hashlet that I have, but I have not added to the balance payment.

Is this Normal ??

Did you read the last posts before you jumped in?

meanwhile some of u scream SCAM, in 19 days i made 530$ back from a 1600$ investment

PS : bought hashlets from first day

Hi

good  but did you check your balance today  ?

In my case , i see the paiment in the history, but my balance is still late !

Strange since i saw in the pop up at lgin than they fixed the problem ..

Thats how their system works. I think it runs all "payouts" first, and then updates all balances. I have payouts in all of my accounts, but the balances don't reflect it yet.

yea, something like that here too

19 days in and I am 1/3 of the way ROI. Grin Not bad.

Looks like the people that are pissed are the ones who did not get the hashlets in the beginning.

The guy/girl who said they lost $15000 was that is hashlets or from GAW is general? If you had $15000 in hashlets you would have had 1/3 or more of your money back, as long as you pointed your hashlets to zenpool.  Wink

They probably bought batch 1 or 2 Vaultbreakers. Gaw already offered to convert batch 1s to either other hardware temporarily or permamently into hashlet primes. No clue when they will offer this for batch 2s if at all. In my experience people who "lose" that kind of money failed to read the fine print or understand what they were getting into. Because they don't understand whats going on, they start crying scam and that they were ripped off or stolen from. The people working customer service for any business will treat you like you treat them, if your yelling scam and ripoff, thief, etc you are less likely to be taken care of to your satisfaction. On the other hand, if your calm, cool and collected and realize that the person your dealing with does not run the company, you are much more likely to get things handled correctly.

The GHS wont rise. Even at 1$/GHS they are overpriced. I bought 1 10pack for one of my accounts just for the hell of it. I would focus on buying primes, they are the better bang for your buck, if they keep rolling out new features for them.

Oh yeah I agree. I bought 30 GHs for the heck of it with some of my selling money and bought physical miners with the rest to mine some on my own (my electricity is 3.8 cents lol). I'll be using some pay soon for a Prime to change to SHA unless they up ZenPool to top the payout.

This is the most prevalent problem we have in this thread with outside posters. People that are clearly financial newbs (and probably in their teens or early 20s), show a complete lack of comprehension of what a Ponzi is and how it operates.  It will make the early adopters money. Everyone does not lose money in a Ponzi.

Only latecomers and those that reinvest lose money. If you bought in the first week, then you will probably ROI.  However, late arrivals are most likely subsidizing your ROI.  It is like buying BTC at 1200 if you buy a Hashlet now.  If you, btcm4n14c, really feel like this is a good investment then you should double-down (or triple down) on your Hashlets right now.

Hence the main purpose of this thread, to try to figure out what sources of income Zenpool can or cannot be using.  Until this is public information then the whole thing is a house of cards. Early adopters making money does not change that.

I presume none of admins of these pools has ever identified these hashlets mining at their pools?

Nope. And when questions kept being asked GAW did this (also #4 in the OP):

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=720844.msg8533761#msg8533761

I will argue with your post there, you're misinforming people.
There are pictures with open setups (no isle separation) everywhere. You haven't seen any other setups, have you?
I also believe they showed the real data center pictures and a warehouse full of miners getting ready to be plugged.

Laughable that the businesses are run by 'highly trained businessmen'. Almost every staff member at GAW has the last name Garza. I know that is a common last name but really lol I don't have 10 smiths at my work. If my business was actually so successful you would think they would actually have some highly trained staff. Or at least a spell checker.

Same here, why are you misinforming people? I've seen their names on their site and in fact most of them aren't named Garza. This is FUD, please prove me that what you just said is true.

I am not referring to thier site. I am referring to my personal dealings with them. It was a half-truth joke. My apologies for spreading fud lol

For the others - I have not been scammed by gaw. I doubled my investment  and got out recently. Overall my experience has been positive with gaw. I just think their community is currently a  bit toxic.

Like I said above I haven't not seen any evidence that they are scamming people. But also I am not sure how they are making money so well. But just because you can  make money  doesnt mean you are a scam.

This problem isn't isolated to this thread. We had the same issues in the egold days. Everyone thinks they know finances, stocks, bonds, etc, when in fact they probably can't even balance a checkbook, (If anyone does that anymore). I think this is the problem that I ran into on hashtalk, either the people there don't want to know, or they lash out because they don't. In my experience you will find people hostile if they know they have no idea what your talking about.

Ignore them, they are shilling. Its obvious it was part jest and part truth. If you look at the users there as well, you will see that a lot of them have gaw founder under their name. These people don't want gaw to fail so they try and snuff out any questions being asked that aren't upbeat and happy, any queries that might mean harm to their bottom line they want to get rid of. Thats likely who is posting here as well.

I'm a founder too sans the fancy badge. It's a "club" of who bought from GAW back in March, not that we have any part in the business. I think it's actually the new buyers that are more likely to be rabid fans because they haven't gone through the shipping and support hell of Gridseed and Zeus hardware. Founders got fucked in many different ways, e.g. most of promised benefits like free hosting are not there anymore.

I stand corrected. I didn't mean to imply they were involved in the day2day of the business, just that they were in from the "beginning"

I will never understand why brand new members find that their opinion will be taken seriously in a discussion such as this.

I have a few hashlets, and I've accepted that I will probably never make my money back. In that same regard, I won't be losing any sizable investment.
