Will you morons stop investing in gawminers? There is no profit to be made unless its a ponzi scheme.
If there was profit to be made, Josh wouldn't be selling hash to customers ...
By your logic, no one would ever sell anything.   The world doesn't work that way.

By his logic the worlds economy would stop dead. Standard business practice is to use other peoples money to invest in your business. Why would josh use his own personal funds to attempt to create new hardware when he can presell it to everyone else and use those funds for design/implementation?

The world economy is NOT "hashlet(s)" economy...Capisco... Huh

ZiG

Wow, I am never not amazed at the depths that are plumbed just to troll.

By this logic, bitmaintech, knc, asicminer, etc wouldn't be selling hardware or cloudmining to end customers. Regardless of how profitable is or isn't to mine with said hardware they can make a lot more money by selling it than mining with it themselves.

But please don't let logic get in the way of your trolling....

What are those points used for? Are they like in store credits to get hashlets?

They are credits given on your balance held in zencloud. They are essentially paying interest on your funds if you leave it sit.
They are giving hashpoints for upvotes on hashtalk, the reason I shared that is because I was and am still banned, there is no way I was helpful on there.

I would sell from cex anyway, they are way overpriced. Any GHS you buy with cex will never roi regardless of the difficulty. If you want to risk it, I say go for it, but make sure you buy primes, not the sha hashlet. This way you can swap between scrypt and sha when its most profitable to do so, and it also keeps you open to the options of alt algos that are supposed to be coming.

Cex is more of a daytrader thing. The main way people get profit there is trading, if you're a bit lucky maybe trading in a comblination with mining earnings. The dissadvantage with hashlets is that you don't get the advantage to cash out when you want, especially with big hash amounts were selling your account for a profit would be even harder. If you trust GAW, then I say go for it. Otherwise, don't. I just sold my zen account along with my hashlets because I wasn't really amused by the revelations through changes in the agreement.

From the newsletter of GAW:

Quote
Hashlet Prime Updates
Also, Hashlet Primes are going to be able to switch to SHA-256 at the end of next week. You will be able to switch it between Scypt and SHA on the fly! We will explain how this will work next week.

So probably 1 Mh/s = 40 Gh/s SHA256, since 10 Gh has 0,02 cost a day and a prime hashlet 0,08.

Right, see https://hashtalk.org/topic/3906/prime-sha-hashlets

Option to have your Primes mine SHA-256 not available until 9/12.

You old posts were migrated and your account was migrated so someone could have upvoted an old post. I don't know how GAW links HT to Zen, maybe by e-mail address.

I would not buy Primes at $40 retail just yet. Just browse the Private Marketplace at HashTalk and you can find offers to sell Primes under $30 with escrow. I was considering selling some of mine but now that they will be able to mine SHA-256 next Friday I am holding.

N.B. if you are considering buying/selling on HashTalk @DrPaul is offering free escrow services: https://hashtalk.org/topic/4046/free-escrow-is-available-for-trading

Bitrated is another escrow option but easier to just use @DrPaul.

drivel

The way this is usually done on bitcointalk is that if you feel so strongly about it you start a thread in Scam Accusations. Have you done that? Yes. Did it work? No. What makes you think that continuing to spam this thread without anything new to say will work better? Actually even if you have something new to say I doubt anyone will read it or take it seriously.

In this arena throwing out scam accusations is like shooting at the side of a barn. You can start a thread accusing every operation of being a scam and you have a fairly decent chance of being right.

Still no clarity on what makes prime better than zen solo because they still only do the exact same thing. Saying you could pick a different pool is stupid because why would you pick a pool besides zenpool when it gives a better return. So two weeks later and all we have is a marketing gimmick to make the original hashlet buyers feel special, especially if they paid the $25 per hashlet price.
