I made a post on Hashtalk, not too ranty and not with poor language, explaining that the removing the nicehash sha pool wouldnt have been necessary if GAW were actually mining in the pools that we are selecting.

Essentially that they are having their cake and eating it too if they want to mine on the hardware to make a profit, charge maintenance, and pay us a pool payout if its less than what they make and cry foul if it happens to be more.  Moreover, they do this on Scrypt as well but because there is ZenPool which has a higher payout we are more willing to overlook it.  Creating a ZenPool-like pool for SHA would be a better alternative if they don't want to actually mine where we point to.  I also stated that they should remove the pool selection from zencloud and have us just own a portion of their mining business if they are not going to do this.

Anyway, within 30 seconds thread deleted and within a minute I was banned from Hashtalk.  So shady...
Damn, did you happen to save what you wrote? I made similar comments in the sha256 thread and i dont think my posts were deleted... Were you new in hashtalk?

So, after going through this thread.. I only have one question.    Is MemCID like a spurned ex-gf of Gaw's owner?
One thing is sure is that he has not provided any evidence of what he says

Okay Josh the  ceo   of zen-gaw and I had a long talk via pm.  He paid me 1.75btc .

0.75btc   was to repay the money I spent to figure the nicehash issue out.

1.0btc was a finders fee  for saving his company a possible huge financial  setback  if this was done after the large fri sha256 was done.

I wish I had been able to explain this easier and simpler and not cased the drama that has occurred.

But plain and simple  If I had figured out Mt Gox 1 week sooner and saved that day I would have.
If I figured out BIPs in advance and saved 1000 lost coins I would have.
If I had been able to do this for trade fortress I would have.

I also think in each case I would have pissed off a lot of people.  No matter had I did it.
I know that I pissed off people here was not my intent.  I still have an S-3 mining in the zen cloud and it will earn less.  I want to point out they stopped the problem and knowing them they will come up with a better idea.
I still feel like I walked up to them and said your left nut is bad it has to go.  Or if you arer a girl your left ovary is bad time to cut it out. the pain today is real but in the long run you will survive.
To their credit they did give me a bounty and did not fluff off the problem.  If they were MT Gox they would have run.

Josh thank you for being a stand up guy. Plus a man of your word.

I think that what you did was right and please stop worrying about the naysayers. I almost looks like you are starting every post on hashtalk with an apology Smiley. It's not your fault that the system was messed up, it's not your fault that someone took advantage of it, it's not your fault your e-mail got caught up in spam filters and let's face it, a lot of people in your position would have kept it to themselves and enjoyed the few more days of extra gains Smiley. I may not share your optimism about how GAW will handle this in the long run, but this doesn't change the fact that you did the right thing and it's great to have you in the forums.
Finally i agree with suchmoon Smiley

i'm also guilty of that, my bad. mea culpa
A bit late for that, you just fed one in your previous post (right above the one I quoted).
I know, sorry, it's too tempting
Like a red button saying "don't push me"

ooo i love those buttons hehe...too kill the temptation, hit the ignore button Smiley worked great for me

wow that nicehash thread has almost 1k replies in it...

i've read from 700 to end and only see a few ppl actually willing to think for themselves...the rest...well the koolaid flows strong with them lmao Grin
Fine! I just hit the ignore button on him, maybe i can rest now.
You can see some of my posts there, but i was a bit late to the party...but yeah a lot of people had no clue what it was about and did not want to know

NiceHash Scrypt hashlet (nicelet?) is also suspended. Not sure what will happen with the ones that have already been sold (I don't have any).

As others have said, he is a butthurt sore loser who cant accept he own failings, yet wants to pin them on everyone else.  But yeah also cant prove anything he says so do yourself a favour and put it on ignore. Nothing but lies and bullshit.

I'm very curious whether they will launch some Zen 256 pool. Because ROI is far far away with NiceHash being gone.

Best to stay away from SHA256 on GAW for now, at least until they can provide a replacement for NiceHash.

I think their move to remove NiceHash for hosted miners it the most worrying, as it proves nothing mines outside of ZenPool.

See how we go, I have like 10M/Hs dedicated to nicehash on solo hashlets alone ... they appear to be still going despite the hashlet being removed to buy as well...edit You can still buy them with auto purchase

Plus I can point all my primes to it still.

He's talking about hosted SHA256 miners (like S3s), not hashlets.

Lol, I can't believe how petty they are being.

I post under a single ID so they know it's me from here and Hashtalk but this is what I get. What are they so afraid of that they have to censor me, a pretty even keeled guy who defends more than attacks. Just wow. Oh yeah, I'm still waiting for my batch 2 refund which is why I'm being shunned, because I dared to ask questions about it.

If this over a refund then call them on the phone.  If you get no call back in 48 hours then open a BBB complaint.  I assume in CT?

It doesnt prove nothing mines outside of zenpool, the only thing proved so far is that they dont "mine" in nicehash for sha256. That's the only thing that has been proven and Josh admitted to it

Josh specifically stated VB batch 2 customers could get a refund because they changed their terms and then changed them again due to "landscape (aka bullshit)" changes... he had instructed his staff to issue refunds with no CEO approval.

Exactly. The only thing is proves is they don't want to pay more because others were playing the system.
