This thread is getting worse every day. Half of it is spam troll wars and lies, the other half suspicions and detective stories.

They are selling contracts, similar to stocks or bonds that are supposed to ROI. I don't ask my bank what happens with the money I send them but focus on the profits.
It's funny how you say it's unethical and admit you are receiving payouts. Money over ethics?

Hashlets were sold to people as "proprietary Hashlet hardware".  They've now tried to erase all of that because, quite frankly, it was blatent fraud.

The general criminal offence of fraud can include:
1. deception whereby someone knowingly makes false representation
2. or they fail to disclose information

People can try and justify it because they're currently making money, but at the end of the day you have to really ask yourself if they can be truly trusted.  There was no need for the deception, people still would have bought it.

I would agree 100% with this. I mean, let's face it all - so much drama, changes, renegs, etc etc.. it's all pretty strange IMO.


Personally, i have a hashlet - can i even sell it? I thought they banned sales or something?

Anyway let me tldr this quickly:

• NH replacement for SHA256 has not been announced, maybe next week.
• NiceHashlets will be converted into ZenHashlets at no extra cost.
• SHA256 "hardware" (e.g. ZenCloud hosted S3 purchased before there were hashlets) can be converted to SHA256 hashlets 1:1. If I'm not mistaken, S3 hosting cost was $0.90 per day, and 480 GH/s of hashlets will be $0.96 per day, so no big change here, if you don't plan to get the hardware shipped.
• HashBoost will be available twice a day to double the hashrate of Prime hashlets. Duration and cost of the boost is not yet known.
• Hashlet Exchange will allow to sell hashlets, at a price set by GAW.
• The will be a collectible breed of Legendary hashlets available in limited quantities. First one is RememberHashlet, same as ZenHashlet (?) in everything except name.
• VB batch 2 announcement will follow next week.
• Project Prime is coming October 23.

Yes legendary hashlet is the same as zen hashlet. (Mining wise) Also Josh is donating $10k to the 9/11 foundation.

I only have a high school education..  I also fix c-arms, contrast injectors, blood lab hematology analyzers, defibs, etc.    Basically if your in a hospital, and any equipment is used on you, for a many state region, there is a possibility that your life or the quality of your treatment is based on someone with a high school degree. .

I concur there is nothing wrong with high school education, I've been in that position myself for a long time until circumstances aligned for me to get a higher degree.

But I think the post you're referring to was a stab at GAW CEO's attempt to berate "regular guys" who run mining pools, as opposed to "highly trained businessmen" employed by GAW.

i wonder if this is true if it means he will show proof he made donation. Like company check and like acknowledgement from the organization thats well established not some foundations that is like 2 weeks old. If this is true would get them some brownie points in my opinion. Hell why not make it a even 1000 lol earn double the brownie points and some good karma

Such as tonight they are the only one that will get double payout twice a day for a short period of time. They will also have more Algo's they can mine. So you would have to think of it as a preorder for what ever GAW can come up with. So if you are a gambler the prime could be the way to go. If you want to see your money back in the shortest time. Zen solo is the way to go. Until today they had the same earnings as Prime. Now prime will be slightly above due to the double hash.

Yep that is the Prime. I am not sure if it will for sure be 40 gh/s but that is what everyone assumes. They have delayed it because of the issue with Nicehash. (Their problem with how they paid)

I tried to run the boost thing . But it seems not working properly. It only increase by more or less 50 % (not double the hash speed ). The 50% increase seems to last 30 minutes.

Now I can split my hardware (at least there is the option for it) but it seems to be blocked for now .

I can sell my hashlet but gaw controll the price . (For example a 25 MH prime is sold at 999$) .


I have no idea what project prime is . Maybe Gaw discover some "transformers" cars, and they make a deal with Optimus and Megatron , so they agreed to mine for gaws

I just purchase 3MH worth of Mining Shares for $100. Not Miners.. mining shares. Lawyer cleared this up for me. Its all in the language and how they present it. Do i mind, not at all.. as long as i can get my ROI back.

If the process we're more similar to renting a rig, then yes i can see it being an actual miner you are buying. But GAW is controlling the coin and pools only because it flow's with their financial projections and what they are able to return to investors.

This is the obvious. Anyone with a business sense can see what they are offering are not miners but shares in an operation. Probably doing this to avoid regulation from the securities commission and ultimately higher taxes.

In Canada, any mining operation selling shares must be registered with the securities commission because they are selling shares
No difference with what GAW is doing. They are just trying to get around it with some wording and presentation.

Think of the production costs to manufacture these hashlets. And they spit em out like quick fast. (Good graphic designer)
If i wanted to purchase $75,000 worth of hashlets i can get them right away!! (SHARES make this possible)

I've just boosted my free 1.3 Mh/s Fury and now it's running at 2 Mh/s. Good reason to login every day and boost them while getting the payouts done anyway
