Name wise it could be a name without Sterlingcoin or Sterling in it, just throwing that concept out there.

Here is one name I thought of, Sparrow, even threw a graphic together. We had already thought of SterlingBit and SLGBit. We want some other ideas

We would like the community to come up with some cool name suggestions for a system where you can scan a Bitcoin QR code and pay with Sterlingcoin We are also considering names and any good ones will be shortlisted. Sterling scan.

Sterling scan. Thought that said "Sterling scam" for a second lol The Sparrow name/branding is pretty cool, but is this going to be an in-wallet feature or a completely separate application?

Here is one name I thought of, Sparrow, even threw a graphic together. We had already thought of SterlingBit and SLGBit. We want some other ideas Anything with 'Sterling' in it becomes a bit of a mouthful, I think. Anything with 'SLG' in it is a wee bit awkward to say; people would probably end up pronouncing it 'Slug', or 'Slag'. As in SlagBit. I like the idea of using a bird-in-flight name//logo. How about 'Swift'? Or maybe a raptor; Falcon, Merlin? Or 'Aquila', the Latin for eagle? Just my two slags. I mean cents....

Separate web based application Very nice. If it's web based (not in wallet) application, that would be really cool. How about SterlingSwift? EDIT: I think having the word 'Sterling' in there is important, as it will be a separate application for people to spend their SLG, when looking through Google Play or wherever they download apps, people will know it's for Sterlingcoin.. Unless you're planning on accepting multiple coins on the service, then a non-sterling name will make sense. Just my opinion on the name, I think Sparrow is still a cool name.

No other coins will be added to this service. Sparrow isn't the final name and is just the first attempt at a logo and name that Spencer has done. Matt and Steve are also thinking of names as are are the community. It would be nice to have Sterling within the name however its not completely necessary as a tagline can be added to the name i.e. Sparrow, a Sterlingcoin system. Keep coming up with names, they are all being talked over.

Will this QR scan system incorporate coins other than SLG?
If so, or not.. how about calling it CoinScan. Easy and informative.
EDIT! Caught up on the previous post about no other coins. But a thought..

how can my stake weight be higher than the network stake weight? or is the network weight calculated by taking everyone's whole weight minus my own?

Quite simply, it can't be. Maybe your wallet isn't synced or hasn't staked for a while. Start staking and after you find your first PoS block check the weights again.

Staked a few blocks and now it shows my weight is 750k and network's is about 800k.

We would like the community to come up with some cool name suggestions for a system where you can scan a Bitcoin QR code and pay with Sterlingcoin We are also considering names and any good ones will be shortlisted. I think we need a simple name that is not abstract as we want people to understand things easily! Therefore, I can only think of one option and that is Sterling Payments Services(SPS). The application would be called Sterling Payments which would in turn call SPS. In fact this problem has already been solved ;-) http://www.fasterpayments.org.uk/about-us/how-faster-payments-worksJust got to build it and we are sorted!

Certainly not original in the sense of an acronym (SPS).

How about another option where we throw in the old term Gateway :- 1.Sterling Payment Gateway Services (SPGS) 2.Sterling Payment Services (SPS)

Sterlingcoin Payment Gateway Services or Sterlingcoin Payment Services could be an option however.
