as this is a coin from the United Kindom, I would like to ask if you need to cash out your sterling into £, which method would you use? Bitstamp, localbitcoins, etc?
great question! that would be a very interesting service... I was going to advise you, litebit.eu, but 2 problems. 1) It doesnt change to £ but € 2) SLG is not included I assume you would have to change them to BTC and then bitstamp or local Ok imagine you have 1000 SLG and its value is $100 each so you will have in total $100.000 then you decide to cash it out via Bitstamp so the process is, sell your SLG for example in bittrex for BTC, then you get of your sell lets say 100 BTC then send this 100 BTC to bitstamp, then in bitstamp you trade your 100BTC for $420000 then you transfer those $42.000 from Bitstamp to your bank account and paying fees, lets say at the end you get £25,000 into your bank account and finally you have to declare that income to the TAX Office so they will take £10,000 so you end up with £15,000. My question is , is there anyway we can avoid to pay taxes, should we pay them? do we have to pay and if we don't do we get a fine? Do you know another way of avoiding this without getting into trouble? If you have $100.000 estimated value in SLG, once you move to £ is should be almost the same but moving to your questions can avoid to pay taxes? Not sure should we pay them? Not sure if we should pay taxes until we finish with wars do we have to pay and if we don't do we get a fine? probably Do you know another way of avoiding this without getting into trouble? Not sure if there will be any problem The point is there is no clear legal frame about altcoins. Depends on each country, but usually you pay taxes once you move to your local currency (take profits), but it's not clear what happens if you expend it instead of moving back to your local currency..

They were going to make an android wallet but there were never any release that I have seen. First page just states Mac, Win and Linux. This is a thing that would be good for this coin to have and some more things.

Pump is comig... After Auroracoin and Scotcoin pump action this coin looks so promising That is exactly what I've been expecting for a while now. Aurora & Scotcoin have been getting all the attention, mostly because of marketing but also because they have concentrated on the development of complete ecosystems for their respective coins. This process is, of course, continuing. Eventually, when these two coins have 'proved' themselves, the world will look around for other likely candidates. The coin that is in pole position at this time appears to be Gulden, not Sterlingcoin. However, no-one can really predict who the markets will embrace next. It could just as easily be Sterlingcoin as any other. The point is, that day is coming, sometime. Whenever it does, SLG must be ready. Code updates; Masternodes; IoS & Android wallets; Virtual ATM's; ROKOS stakers; and lots of other stuff! Whatever it takes. We. Must. Be. Ready. Sterling Sentinel.

Try adding these to your conf file: 74.5.137.87 164.132.55.71 188.166.152.255 128.199.92.169 108.61.177.110 108.61.198.207 108.61.179.216 209.222.30.241 Sorry to learn you are having problems syncing. Edit or add a sterlingcoin.conf file to the same data directory that contains your wallet.dat and add a line "addnode=x.x.x.x" for each of the above mentioned IP addrrsses. Restart your wallet. I hope this information is helpful.

I'm also having trouble with my sterlingcoin.conf file, here's the contents:
addnode=seed1.sterlingcoin.org.uk addnode=74.5.137.87 addnode=164.132.55.71 addnode=188.166.152.255 addnode=128.199.92.169 addnode=108.61.177.110 addnode=108.61.198.207 addnode=108.61.179.216 addnode=209.222.30.241
Is this correct?

I created one and added the nodes you suggested, it started to sync right away. My next question is regarding the premier edition crypto cards. I took the sticker off the back, which gives the private key. The instructions say to go to the console and importprivkey "private key" which I did... and it took it.... but nothing happened then. Is there another step after that?

Is there another step after that? Glad to hear you did get synced finally! In regards to your premier crypto cards, you should just input "importprivkey <sterlingcoinprivkey>" in the debug console and the wallet you entered that into will "consume" the entire balance of the card, like you said you did. Of course, make sure you did not have a typo. There is no additional step usually. Perhaps a "repairwallet" command will resolve this for you but, in my test it is not mandatory. Maybe your live wallet does not "see" the coins yet as its own. I suggest trying "repairwallet" from the same debug console. I hope that helps!

Is this correct?
Yes, that is correct. However, you might want to try removing the first entry, "addnode=seed1.sterlingcoin.org.uk" as that will not resolve presently. This is because the hosting and VPS's we did have being lost due to financial reasons of the past. We do hope to restore this but, presently it is unfortunately not yet restored. You should be able to sync and discover more nodes from the other mentioned nodes.

If it does not, I have moved a fresh peers.dat file to http://sterlingcoin.guru/peers.datOverwrite your present peers.dat file with that file. Either way, I hope you will be able to find some peers and sync up.

I would assume this is because I've already imported the private key earlier. So now I cannot import it again.. but the balance I have is still showing up as 0 SLG
Any other ideas?

Lets conduct a test. Post or PM the public key address on the premier crypto card and I will send 1 SLG to that address. It should in-turn end up within your wallet if the private key was in fact imported from the card.
