UTC has the perfect qualities to be to Scrypt coins, what Scrypt coins were to SHA-256 coins.Yes VertCoin was the first Scrypt-N coin, but UTC adopted it better, and added something new. And now that it is ever more energy efficient than X11, X13 etc. I see a bright future. The decision that the dev team took - to go PoW/PoS was a smart one! They listened to the community and decided against full PoS. (I personally trolled them a lot and they made the right decision)  A good dev. team is one that listens to the community and is transparent to it. (thrust me on this one I've been mining longed than most dev. teams have been developing)  YACoin was the first to incorporate an NFactor. If I'm not mistaken, Vertcoin was the first scrypt-salsa (name of the mixing function) coin to incorporate NFactor--dubbed Scrypt-N, but YAC and UTC are both scrypt-chacha. Sorry, I just had to make that correction. |

I have just received word from Coin-Payments that Ultracoin will be reinstated by October 1st. They are working on setting the coin up as we speak. One of our investors absorbed the fee and businesses interested in accepting Ultracoin can begin accepting it within the next few weeks.

Never thought I'd see the day Ultracoin had a bigger 24 hour volume than Litecoin on a major exchange! (UTC 78 BTC - LTC 76 BTC on Cryptsy) So proud of the new management team & the whole of the UTC community!

Totally the opposite, we have a UTC 2.0 here (reborn, and strong) I have a feeling that the upcoming convention will set the UTC price well above the wonderful highs of these days. Congrats to the team, wonderful work. If UTC has managed to reach 10x in more than a week, judging by it's low market capitalization, it's almost sure that it will go much higher in a short term. It seems one of the best investment in the ALTcoin market today. Too many shitcoins and scams, here we've got a passioante comunity behind motivated devs, and a solid future-proof coin. I would suggest you to let us know about the hasher's united arguments, let the information flow. A question for you, I would mine UTC with a dozen of GTX 750Ti, could you be so kind to share a working batch file setting, with the link to donwload the miner? I've tried an old one and I am experienced, but unfortunately I haven't got so much time lately. Many thanks in advance guys, and keep the hard work because you deserve it ! |

I deserve this You should not worry too much, Difficulty went up 5 times, and new miners are selling what they mine, happy to be in profit for the first time in months. But what miners mine is not enough to bring the price down. They will just slow the price on its way up. Eventually we will see the levels of yesterday. EDIT:btw I wrote this before the price went back up to 12 so,.. what can i say I AM GOD!!! |
