8gb only but N factor is 14 now isnt it?

Yes, N-factor is currently at 14. I would suggest to you, to have at least 10 GB in your system. More is even better. Regards, V.

Does someone know what is the status of UTC, that were held on Mintpal. I have seen utc wallet didn't migrate to v2 mintpal, therefore the coins could be reposesed by devs and distributed back to their owners. Thank you for letting me know.

@KingCole

We are still #1 on whattomine, which is kind of scary if you look at other cryptocurrencies
http://www.whattomine.com/

@Tiredofscams

Unfortunately, when Mintpal wen't AWOL the founder took all the coins with him, for all we know the coins being dumped could be the very same coins we had on the exchange. I lost $600 in 15 minutes with Mintpal, but that pales in comparison to what others have lost. Read up on the Mintpal debacle: http://mintpaljustice.com.

I could imagine that those are the coins being dumped. I thought utc was one of the coins whose wallet didn't transfer to v2  Sad

Ah yes I see now.......

anyone seriously wanting to sell 600,000 UTC would not do it like that (if they knew anything about trading at all?)

Its likely an attempt to scare the price down IMO

but the fact that they have reverted to 50k for sale is still quite significant - especially if they put more up a few times when the smaller orders are sold.

There is a lot of movement out of Alts at present back to BTC (and to a lesser degree LTC) - there is a sentiment on the street that BTC is going to take a bit more of a dip and then go $500 - 600 - 700 in the near term. Many think there will be a cruel sort out of the Alts and only a few of the very best will keep heads above water. But this is an old repeating story.

Could be one of these folk?

@arargon100 You should be getting around 4kh/s from an R9 290, I believe. Hope this helps. Regards, V. P.S. You might also want to try yacminer. This is the best one for UTC atm, I have heard.

hahaha

it looks like a trick I am afraid - note the trade just through on Cryptsy - a buy of 464K UTC

somebody is buying their own UTC back to make it look exciting with high volume, high demand etc

their fees only 0.23 BTC which is chicken feed to make price go up - payback pretty good dealing with that amount of UTC

Just spent the last several hours e-mailing businesses to accept Ultracoin, hopefully I can make it fruitful. Coinpayments.net is an excellent resource to reach the low hanging fruit. If anyone wants to join me, the more the merrier! And higher chances of getting accepted! Getting accepted is our number one goal, and is what bottlenecks any cryptocurrency from becoming successful, so that is why we must raise demand through acceptance and appealing to businesses. Remember, all Ultracoin accepting businesses can be added to our business directory, useultracoin.com. The future belongs to those who conduct commerce, don't be afraid to buy what you normally do using Ultracoin instead of paper currency. This will patronize our businesses and increase our demand! And it is also what cryptocurrencies are used for! If you don't care about acceptance, then why are you into cryptocurrency in the first place?
