Community Announcement

If you want to support Cryptopia - a splendid idea might be to adopt their signature here on BitCoinTalk

Cryptopia Signatures:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1669443.msg17112474#msg17112474

On BitCoinTalk - Just go to:
Profile>Forum Profile Information - and copy/paste the signature corresponding to your BCT membership level into the "Signature" field. SAVE - thats all.

They might even "pay" you for this in the future.............

I did it - easy as

Support Cryptopia please - we can build a good partnership here with them.

Thanks - usukan

Hi wtfc360 - yes indeed.  Seems like delisting from Bittrex was the best thing to happen for UltraCoin.

The volume has been quite impressive.

UltraCoin Block Explorer - Expires soon

Quote
Ultracoin's block explorer service expires on Mar 05 2017

This coin uses a significant amount of server resources and is charged a $3/mo premium to accommodate for its needs. This makes total monthly charges of $10.

To add another 1 month of funding to the block explorer send 0.0096 BTC to 15oGKcFBey4CS5FwRGfaEAKbagLfHiVhZr

Contact presstab on bitcointalk to renew for a longer period of time with a lower rate.

I have contacted PressTab and he has offered a better rate for 12 months renewal.  $120 reduced to $108.

I will need to send him about 0.11 BTC (depending on Winkdex BTC price that he works from) - within the next week or two.

As such - I am asking for BTC contributions to cover this cost from the Community.

Any contributions gratefully received to the UltraCoin Dev Fund BTC address:

1LpFmfieMBH63ivFA1Us5ju1jnH9CSccKZ

https://blockchain.info/address/1LpFmfieMBH63ivFA1Us5ju1jnH9CSccKZ

This is the address we used to pay PressTab for the Block Explorer setup - and all his subsequent work on fixing up the UTC wallet, testing and later tweaks.
UltraCoin requires a block explorer - so this is a non-discretionary cost.  We must have it.

Any contributions qualify for UltraCoin WAVES Tokens

Quote
at the rate of a minimum of 1,000,000 per 1 BTC

Thanks - usukan

I have just paid this from my own private funds.  0.089822 BTC

https://blockchain.info/tx/5afc31773a9be0ead27f13e82fafe011448472cde67652f6a7a082133ca5f78f

I have had one generous contribution to the UTC Dev Fund (0.02 BTC) to assist with block explorer fees (thanks so much Valpe).

But I am still looking for a bit more community support please.

Its not so much about how much (any contributions talk to me and help fire my resolve to keep working for this community).

Any contributions gratefully received to the UltraCoin Dev Fund BTC address:

1LpFmfieMBH63ivFA1Us5ju1jnH9CSccKZ

Of course - I will reimburse my direct expenses relating to UltraCoin business (Block Explorer) from any donations.  Any excess will be held for further Dev projects.

Thanks - usukan

Thanks all - for your contributions to the Dev Fund - to pay for the block explorer renewal.

We have enough to pay for the block explorer - and a small excess to fund future projects.

I have advised Team @Cripto and expect that they will send UltraCoin WAVES token rewards shortly to those who donated.

Cheers - usukan

just for info

This is the WAVES address of the UltraCoin Dev Fund - holding UltraCoin WAVES tokens (wUTC).

3P6jSL85eeeptK8tDhinddu1fUpfvbtQhEG

The account has been topped up by Team @Cripto and several other generous UltraCoin community members.

Current Balance = 9,400,000 wUTC

At present wUTC has no particular value - but when UTC and WAVES develop a bit more we could look at how we might use wUTC as an extension of UTC - and if it has utility - it will have value.

I have rolled some ideas around a few times before on this thread:

Quote
Recently - The UltraCoin Community was issued a token (UltraCoin Asset ID DxG3PLganyNzajHGzvWLjc4P3T2CpkBGxY4J9eJAAUPw) on the WAVES platform by members of the WAVES Community as a promotion and demonstration of the synergies possible between different Cryptocurrencies.  This token was distributed to UltraCoin Community members based on current UltraCoin holdings and support for UltraCoin irrespective of their current UltraCoin holdings - on a voluntary basis.  This was not an official UltraCoin project but it now presents UltraCoin with some new opportunities.

First - we can consider the UltraCoin WAVES token as an ''extension" of Ultracoin itself.  The UltraCoin Token will be tradeable on the WAVES decentralised exchange (DEX) in the future and convertible to BTC, other cryptos/assets/tokens and convertible to FIAT currencies through WAVES gateways.

- WAVES will provide wallets in Win/Apple/iOS/Android for this token - allowing the UltraCoin Community members a wide range of use and development options.
- The Waves platform will also release "multigateway'' templates in Scala allowing direct conversions of UTC to UTC Tokens - and back to UTC - further adding seamless utility to this UltraCoin extension provided by the token.
- The UltraCoin WAVES token may also be listed on Cryptopia allowing many, simple and diverse trading opportunities in the near future.

The WAVES issuer of these tokens (Team @Cripto) will also issue Tokens as REWARDS to any UltraCoin Community Member who contributes to the UltraCoin Development Fund.  They have stated that they will issue rewards at the rate of 1,000,000 UltraCoin tokens minimum per 1 BTC contribution until the reserve runs out - and this system has already been used by several members.  (Contact usukan or Rapture333 if you wish to make any contributions).

Further to this Team @Cripto has made a generous gift of UltraCoin WAVES tokens to the Official UltraCoin WAVES wallet to fund future development of UltraCoin.  Additionally several community members have also made very significant contributions to this same fund.  In the future we hope to be able to use this fund for specific UltraCoin development projects.

This is an experiment in the making using cutting edge crypto functionalities - we have no idea how it will evolve - but follow the progress - only on UltraCoin.
No other Crypto currency currently has a token like this - as an extension on another blockchain.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=727023.msg17615092#msg17615092

So nothing happening in the wUTC space for a few months - but stay tuned.

Cheers - usukan

Hi guys

I'm one of the persons that had access to the waves UTC tokens.

Are they transferrable for trading?

How does it works? The transfer feature in the waves lite client it's still in the development phase.

EDIT: "First - we can consider the UltraCoin WAVES token as an ''extension" of Ultracoin itself.  The UltraCoin Token will be tradeable on the WAVES decentralised exchange (DEX) in the future and convertible to BTC, other cryptos/assets/tokens and convertible to FIAT currencies through WAVES gateways."

Just read, so it seems that they're worthless right now. All right then Smiley

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to issue a quick update, firstly, after a successful transition to Cryptopia, we have seen an increase in volume and notice in Ultracoin. In the near future we will be re-partnering with Coinpayments.net, which has grown into a highly successful service since we were last featured. Coinpayments is a fantastic platform that allows for online shopping cart integration in cryptocurrency, with a wide range of retailers and businesses currently using Coinpayments it is an important next step to be able to conduct commerce in Ultracoin. With the new exchange open, this will be the next step on our road map.

On the development front, it looks the developer I had contracted to work on the one click miner has gone MIA. As such, I have put out a call for freelance developers for several projects. I am hoping that having multiple developers at once take on several projects will go much faster and get the ball rolling. If you know any developers, or are interested in working on the project, refer to the post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1815095.msg18081222#msg18081222

Currently, there are several development projects that I believe should be priority for 2017:

Projects:

  • Ultracoin Web Based Paper Wallet Application
  • iOS and Android Wallets (With Lite Wallet)
  • One Click Miner (Wallet Integration)
  • Lite Wallet Feature (Download blocks only pertaining to wallet transactions)
  • Wallet Streamlining (Resource Management)

As we continue to progress and grow, it is paramount that we secure top level domains to be a serious contender. Domains Ultracoin.com and Ultracoin.net are currently available, I will be speaking with Sedo to obtain these domains and have them re-direct to Ultracoin.io. This will give us more credibility and prevent confusion in the long run. I plan to secure these domains with personal funds, if anyone else would like to contribute feel free private message me.

Sincerely,

Steven "Rapture" Nekhaila
Chair of the Ultracoin Team
Steven@Ultracoin.net
Ultracoin.io

P.S. I will be out of the country from March 6th-11th, so my ability to answer messages will be limited
