Hello everyone,

I meant to give an update earlier last week but I have been traveling out of town for business and just returned. I spoke with the Hack Miami team and unfortunately they declined the offer at this time. I am going to continue looking into some other groups with high regard and good credentials. I apologize that this is taking this long, if anyone has any leads please feel free to contact me directly and I will negotiate a deal. I have double down on my searches and have posted several more ads, I will keep everyone updated. Hoping not to have you all wait too much longer.

We recommend using YACminer, that is still the best miner for mining Ultracoin, the latest build can be found here: https://github.com/Thirtybird/YACMiner/releases

As far as the payouts being disabled I have notified our pool operator about the issue, try again soon.

We recommend using YACminer, that is still the best miner for mining Ultracoin, the latest build can be found here: https://github.com/Thirtybird/YACMiner/releases

"Our" pool operator is alenevaa, and he hasn't been active since March 7th. He is not responding to messages. Just hope he is ok. But way to stay on top of it.

Quick update

I can confirm that Alenevaa is indeed MIA - for at least a month.  Its very strange as he is very reliable and has given 100%+ to UltraCoin through all our wallet upgrades and testing and pool reconfigs.  I have tried to contact him via many channels but no replies for over a month now.  I really hope he is OK.  Its not good.  I will keep trying.  I'm still applying a maintenance hash to the pool to ensure the network works efficiently and have more than 10k UTC stuck there.  I still have full faith that Alenevaa will reappear.

Plan to have a few discussions with Steven - will update everyone.

The staking is definitely working  - you can observe here  http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/index.php  (left screen)

to stake you need:
1 - to have a fully "synced" wallet
2 - Enable staking
3 - have a reasonable "weight" - that means coins over a min of 2 weeks old in wallet AND have quite a few coins or your stake weight will be low and not competitive till they get really old in your wallet.

Compare by hovering over the staking icon at bottom right of wallet and see what your stake weight compared with network weight is.  If you are only a small fraction of the network then you will need to wait a while - or buy more coins.

I have a wallet with about 20k coins - it hardly stakes when I leave it 1-2 months between stakings.

So its all operational - you need to consider 1-3 above to solve your problem

Without a lot more info - I can't really begin to explore the error you have.



Are you fully synced?  Is your balance correct.  Check that you actually have a connection to at least 1 peer.

Are you pressing the correct shortcut to the wallet to open?  Try opening it direct from the folder. You might be opening the old version?  Check version number when wallet is open.

Does your wallet stake?  And if its staking - turn staking off when you try and send.

Double check that the Cryptopia address is 100% correct

Post a screenshot of your wallet and the error mssg (blank out sensitive info)

Try Commission/fee of 0.01

Are you mistaken to send more UTC than you have?  Send 2 UTC first as a test. (you should always do this anyway)

Make sure your AV program has not blocked anything related to the UltraCoin wallet.

Also - if your balance is from staking - its only spendable after a lot of blocks have passed (forget how many just at present).  If the stakes are not returned/verified to balance - you will not be able to spend until they do.

Could be any number of other things - we need a few more clues to try and help you work out your problem.

Thanks for the advice. Yesterday I tried to send 30 000 UTC. Received the error. On your advice I tried to send 2 UTC. Well. Then I tried to send 28 000 UTC - got the message that we should put the Commission 0,01 UTC. Put and it worked. The coins went.

OK - you do not get awarded any coins unless you enable staking/minting.

Your weight grows even if you are not running the wallet at all.

But you don't get any new coins to your wallet unless you stake (enable with the staking check box and enter your pass word - you will begin to compete for staked blocks a few seconds later - while connected and fully synced).

Usually - I stake my wallets about every month - for one day.  This is enough to achieve full rewards.

Sometimes I stake just to support the network - I get very small rewards - but it supports the network.
