Attemp mining with 500GB free of my 1T HDD, there is no reward since 15 days ago =))
Confirmed Deadline is average several Months
I have tried with some No-targed Deadline's mining pool. http://burst.cryptoguru.org/ is the first
Net diff is Big these days Grin

Check a calculator. I think even 10 TB won't make any decent amount of money.

Does Burst mining wear the HDD down and lower its life expectancy?

That will give you about 1.5Burst/day maybe.  That pool will payout when you reach 100.

Probably not to a significant degree.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

What does everyone think of Tor integration for Burst? It would be very useful for the market place if the vendors want to maintain their privacy. Another nice feature for Burst would be the capability to generate new addresses in the wallet. Its a very basic feature in some BTC wallets that Burst should have.

The mining ROI seems very low though, so even a small change in longevity could kill any chance of getting the money for the hard drive back.

Good way to kill TOR for 30 seconds or so at a time, unless they've ramped their network capacity up a TON since I last looked at them.

Kill Tor? But Open Bazaar2 has started integrating Tor in their system and we havent seen any down time with Tor or Open Bazaar. Other cryptocurrencies have plans to integrate with Tor such as XMR's Kovri project.

It should be something the PoCC should study and look into from my perspective.

You can use pool wallet's if you don't have a local one, f.e. https://wallet.burstcoin.ro/

Hi bTee, I dont mean to offend you or the operators of burstcoin.ro, but I would suggest that new users should use the more trusted wallet1.burst-team.us:2083/index.html#

But if you or burstcoin.ro are part of the PoCC or Burstnation then I am sorry. I merely want Burst newbs to use a safe and trusted service.

It was indeed a quick reply which suits his demands.

The safest way is of course to install wallet and download blockchain to a local computer.

I can't really understand, why is Burst so cheap now? On your opinion what are that main engines, which can drive the coin Up?

There arent many miners that visit this thread anymore. Your best chance to get answers are on the PoCC's official forum or in their subreddit. You can also send Rico666 a private message. He can help point you to the right direction. I hope that helps.

Welcome to Burst and good luck.

Burst consensus works by PoC only. The reason for cheap price is simple: BTC is fucking pumping through the roof. All alts are down.
