Why this project started picking up so late considering it has been  in development since 2014 ?

Maybe because of all the developments in the meanwhile? That's what these coins are actually about... however a lot of other coins tend to only thrive on promises.

Well, a lot of them are in development and the price is way higher.

Maybe something too nerdish tied with bad/absent marketing ?

I bought a stake in Burst. The size of the buy-orders today is exceptional compared to any of the buy-orders in the recent months. I expect this coin to rise like Digibyte did last month.

The concept of mining with your HDD is a really distinguishing feature. Very nice work from the devs!

Lack of marketing pure and simple.  And current dev team has only been at it for about 1.5 years.  BURST has really only had some substantially marketing the last 2 - 3 months.  People are just becoming aware, I personally think this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I mined with 4 TB HDD, but only 40 BURST has been digged.
The pool uses "http://pool.burstcoin.party/", should I change it?

Coin interesting and good price, but would you like to know if you have another roadmap besides the first page? Grateful.
i think they have not!!!
first burst dev has gone...
this coin survive just for a big big community!!!

First dev is apparently gone... but current dev team has been I  place for about 1.5 years and very dedicated and invested.

That's right and I'm sure that soon we'll get an updated roadmap. But for now people can join the weekly conference calls on Tuesday's at around 3:30 pm. I posted the link below to this weeks conference call for anyone who had missed it or wants to keep up to date on what is going on with Burst.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYvEv7QmE7g&t=3s

Thanks

Would be fun to BURST off the SD Card on your android phone! Cheesy

You can if you have like a 8-16-64-128GB sd card.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=burstcoin.com.burst&hl=en

Is it profitable?

for brand new hard disks ROI is ~12-15 months.
For old used stuff - lower, depends on how much stuff you can allocate.

Calculate for yourself: http://burstcoin.biz/calculator

With 128 Gb SD card BURST mining will give about $6 at current price. After one year of mining.

From Siberia with love!

Np.

I was recommended to this pool with 2.1TB because I wasn't getting shares at team-burst.us pool. I think u need a kazillion TB's for team-burt.us.

I was considering long-term growth, but it seems that the pump came faster than I thought.
I have not confirmed the news.

I believe that there is a dump.
