just tested this and confirming same results. what's the solution? how i can check my plots at corrupt?
I noticed the plots generated by GPU plotter with 14.6 drivers produced extremely huge deadlines (13-14 digits) when mining. It's very hard to mine anything with such deadlines. "Warning: to the AMD owners, the 14.4 catalyst driver cause a major bug. The generated files are corrupted. I will investigate on this problem. In the meantime, I recommend you to switch back your driver to the 13.12 version" quote from bipben Possibly only a flaw with the Windows version of Catalyst 14.4 driver? as the 14.4 Linux driver plots just fine for me... I've already tested earlier in the thread and confirmed my Linux plots are NOT corrupt.

Plotted 28 TB. Average 21K burst per day at rate of 0.00000330 BTC with 0.0693 BTC Profit sent to BTC-E. POC is wonderful. 9 TB more to complete a total of 8 HDD Plot. Ordered another 12 HDD (Seagate Desktop HDD 6TB 7200RPM STBD6000100) from Amazon. Should receive it next week so I'm still have time to setup 2 new PCs station with each to handle 6 HDD. NNOOOOOO!!! Stop it! If you add more difficulty you will reduce my profit! My CPUs are going to finish a couple 3 TB drives in a day or two, I'll start using the GPU plotter but not on these drives. CURSE the GPU plotter, it is going to hurt my profits!!! Take it away and put out a virus that corrupts all GPU generated plots!!!!

Increasing difficulty won't hurt profits as much as people just mining and dumping the coin on exchanges.... which is basically what is happening now. More people need to use the Multipools that mine coins then sell those coins to BUY BURST which would help the prices go back up.

BurstMultipool.com was unexpectedly restarted by OVH and offline for a short time - it is back online now. Please point your miners and help generate buy pressure. Completely optimized, automated payouts.
I have also set up the startup scripts so in the future restarts by the VPS provider will result in the pool coming right back online
The pool has issued shares for fractional ownership of it. Dividends will begin once a portion of the shares have sold. The asset number is 11375670541237055652 I just bought the first share Paradigmflux, am I reading that right? You are selling 5,000,000 shares? At the current BURST prices that comes out to 16,700 BTC, or $4,932,500. Seems a bit high, don't ya think? You will need to produce almost 5 million dollars with your multipool in order for a share to ROI, right? New to this asset thing, so let me know if I am misunderstanding. Hey bro, There are 5000 shares for sale, for 1000 burst per share. It would take 5,000,000 burst to buy every single share currently for sale. All BURST raised from selling shares will be used to buy hosted mining hardware which will be pointed back at the BURST multipool and the proceeds from it will be distributed equally amongst the shareholders. The dividends will never be issued to the asset issuer, so the profits will be split equally among whoever has purchased the shares so far. I do the same thing for NXT and have paid out nearly 100k NXT back as a dividend already. It helps create some buy pressure for the coin, and removes the pool's reliance on independant miners by allowing it to actually run some hardware. I'd like to buy into this! Can you PM me back with instructions? Enter the asset number in your wallet. You can buy there. (Asset Exchange is on the left-hand side) Bought some shares! Hopefully people jump on this quick so we can get some extra mining done Wait wait. You said that the BURST collected will be used to buy mining hardware. That implies that you will dump the BURST you receive in order to get btc/USD. So short term super dump, long term, minimal buy pressure? So i just issued a asset.. for 1000 burst what did i just do? and how would i buy shares ?

I guess I have a problem. I've been generating plots all night, currently got 170,000 nonces and still none of my shares have been valid and I have 0 mined balance. I know that 170,000 isn't that much, but seriously - nothing? I guess I'm doing something wrong. http://imgupload.sk/images/z/t/ztt9argigq97a0jgwrtd_thumb.jpgEDIT: Also, I always get the "error reading file message" - any idea what's wrong?

Warning: to the AMD owners, the 14.4 catalyst driver cause a major bug. The generated files are corrupted. I will investigate on this problem. In the meantime, I recommend you to switch back your driver to the 13.12 version.
My plots appear to be fine (on Linux) generated with the 14.4 catalyst driver, as compared to the same plot generated with the CPU I'll test out v2.0.1 and see if there are any changes. Just tested out v2.0.1 with my AMD Radeon 7800: Speeds are now showing as ~7,800 nonce/minute, instead of the previous ~121,000 nonce/minute in v2.0.0... Sad to see the extra thousands of nonces/minute go away, but now they seem correct with actual plot/file growth times. Ran some other additional tests, and indeed the stagger size appears to be able to be set over the Global Maximum Memory of the GPU. So, I'm not really sure what max stagger is related to. Below are some of my tests for my card (on Linux): ./gpuPlotGenerator.exe generate 0 0 /media/twig/Burst_Coin_21/test/GPU 11111222223333344444 14670001 7335000 1000 256 1024 4300 nonce/minute, ETA: 27h

There is nothing wrong, your screenshot shows you are mining just fine. 170,000 nonces is only ~28GB... When I was first testing the water of Burst last week, I generated a 100GB file and it took 2 days for me to get a valid pool share. However, just like the lottery, any size plot could return a valid share or solve a block.

However, just like the lottery, any size plot could return a valid share or solve a block. Well, I thought that mining in a pool means the block doesn't have to be found by me and I always get some reward when a block is solved. You do get rewards, if you submit valid shares, even if your share doesn't solve the block. Think of it like this: I ask you for a number that ends with the number 3 for a valid share or the number 10293 to solve the block ...but you keep telling me 7, 213487234, 10, 2, 1118, etc Those are not valid numbers that end with 3, nor 10293. So, I don't give you any "shares" and you didn't solve the block. The more Plots you have, the more chances you have to give me the number(s) that I ask for. (This is a horrible example, but it the only way I could think to explain it) If you were solo mining, you would no get "shares"... so you would only get paid when you actually solve a block all by yourself.

Actually a good example, I got it Alrighty then, guess I only have to find myself a four-leaf clover. Also, the error reading file thing is normal. it means that you are either still plotting the file you are mining on or that you stopped plotting before the file was done generating, causing the last nonce in the file to be unreadable. either way, you can safely ignore the message.

when we will have gui wallet client? it is unreasonable we have hdd mining but can't store the coin in local hdd, it is still unsafe with website wallet, for exsample, in theory, we can program a software, let it generate the passphase and use dump_address.bat to generate the wallet address, if the wallet address was found in blockchain explore, then this passphase is crashed out.. if one with large amount of coins in it, i think hacker must have intreset in it, and i said, in theory, it is still possible,,,so, i think a local wallet client is needed,,at least from safety
