modded v.2.0.1 kernel gave me the following results.

HD7970
Stock=11.7k nonces/min
Mod=20.6k nonces/min

HD7850 2GB
Stock=7.7k nonces/min
Mod=15.6k nonces/min

~76% increase with the 7970 and ~102.59 increase with the 7850 2GB...... Shocked
I'm having a major debate with myself right now...
Do I cancel my currently plotting 2TB file, or do I just wait it out and test a smaller file after it is complete...

The two cards are on different PC's, 7850 is plotting 10.5TB and 7970 is plotting 14.4TB. Originally it was going to take 4~5 days and now it will take 2 days or less to plot.
I have a 7800, so I assume it would be pretty similar to your 7850. What are the perameters you are using for the GPU plotter for the 15.6k?
(I think I'm going to wait it out and test later, as my current 2TB plot is 73% complete with 5h left..)

there is no such card called a "7800" unless u are talking about a super old nvidia card 7800 is the series like 7850 7870

GPU plot generator v2.1.0

Changelog:
- Enhanced kernel. Thanks to "burstcoin" for his great work on that part.

Windows x86 binaries: https://mega.co.nz/#!yIsSFByA!A50zN-7X7hLo5d3r5W9R_fwmhca3QC50_G3vG2CFJPM
Sources: https://mega.co.nz/#!HUsgQJIC!K-xNcnn3zfFZb9UHX7WokRRzEbLPmZOeAZWoIVArOwQ

I made some modifications in the kernel too. Please check that my modifications don't lower the performances (it shouldn't, but let's be cautious).
Also, as this is a brand new kernel, the AMD 14.4 issue may be corrected as a side effect. I would really apreciate a feedback on that point.

I assume this is still mainly for AMD right? last time I checked even a 750Ti was slower than my CPU. I think it's the same like with scrypt mining in the beginning. Using the OpenCL miner, the performance was just way to low for the power consumption. Without a proper CUDA implementation, nVidia is out of the plotting game I guess ^^

Give it a try, but yes the design hasn't been reviewed yet.
The v3.0.0 will be your best chance to make it works with NVidia cards as I will expose two new parameters to tune things up more precisely. It should be more compliant with NVidia cards. If not, I will port the GPU plot generator to Cuda to make everyone happy ^^'

He's talking about 7850 or the 7870, the device manger will show that it's a AMD 7800 series card.

Sry, was just going on what the driver said... (I should know better)

Could you give me a hint:
When Imt trying to plot 3 HDDs with one GPU I do so:
On 1st drive I set 1 gpuplotgenerator with startnoon 1; numberof noons 7178000
On 2nd drive I set 1 gpuplotgenerator with startnoon 7178000+1; numberof noons 7180000
On 3rd drive I set 1 gpuplotgenerator with startnoon 7178001+7180000; numberof noons 7180000
I open  mine_bat for each drive with same adress URL.
Is that right?

the Mega link is not working for me Sad Working now Smiley

Also thought i would add my plotting speeds for my 7950 (with a pretty decent overclock)
was getting 14k on v2.0.0
now getting 27k on v2.0.1 with the kernel mod posted by burstcoin
using 4080Stagger 256Threads 8160Hashes
Still only uses 64% usage of the GPU at best aswell.

With the cpu plot i have deadlines like thousands or milions

is that normal?

No. It's a bug caused by catalyst 14.4 drivers (and higher).
Use 13.12 drivers or try the GPU generator v2.1.0 https://burstforum.com/index.php?threads/gpu-plot-generator.45/page-3#post-471

I setup a private pool because I was having lots of issues with the public ones. I am in the process of moving my miners over. This is designed for experienced miners only! I will not be providing any support. Credit to uray for open sourcing his pool.

Fees are set at 0.

If you have 2TB+ PM me and I will give you a link.

Messed around with the 2.0.1 plotter kernel a bit, and got it running a bit faster.

https://mega.co.nz/#!vsommLbQ!C9v0TshBm0JY8DMBC8DsM9wCtZvvGjsVDNl9wGr0DKU
Replace the kernel folder with the one provided.

Dude thanks a lot, i´m saving so much time and a nice sidefact, my pc works much faster overall while plotting.
My Card 7970 @ 1100Mhz

Before mod: 13600 nonces
With mod:  22200 nonces

3072 128 8160

Thats really cool, it´s like ~12 times faster than my cpu Cheesy
Yesterday when calculating with my cpu i would have been done at the end of the next week,
now i should be done tomorrow!

I'm buying as much as I can afford and i mine as much as i can and HOLD!!!

actually i'm setting up a little "farm"(LOL) I got 30HDs 250GB and some more various size and 3 Raid Controller with 8 sata ports
I will have ~10TB but with a looot of HDs but hey i got them for Free, so its a pure 10TB of full profit  Grin

BTW people should read more before ask questions, there is a very usefull Search box in the upper right at top of the page Wink
