Quote
4 TB = 3020 Burst a day(considering you already have HDD without invest, excluding pools problems here and there)
Today at current difficulty:
3020 Burst a day / 296 satoshi = 0,00899960 =  4 usd more or less
4 usd - 350 watt pc consuming = 3 usd a day.

The point of this: Mining is by far too profitable.
A few days ago someone contacted me. He wanted to invest, but decided to get some huge storage servers for mining instead, and was looking for someone to manage them. Paid of cause. A smart decision!
If the difficulty has been higher at this point I'm pretty sure he would have bought.

See - with burst you can't just throw in some GPU's and get a higher difficulty instantly. There is a delay of a few weeks at least - buy HDD, learn how to mine - and plot. This is a good thing - its far more resistant to the 51%-attack, has a more stable difficulty long term and so on.

Maybe you're downloading the wrong branch? Master branch is 1.1.1, but one of the others is 1.0.3.

So after i thought somethings wrong with my created files i generatet a new 5,6Tb file at once
and now im mining since 6h, nothing found so far.
I dont know if it´s worth solo mining with 5,6TB, maybe i should join a pool, i think i wait 1-2 Days, if i find nothing,
im gonna go pool.

What do you guys think?
