lets do something to pump back the value to 0.03 - 0.04 /block ? eh ? Huh

Two ways to increase the coin's value:

1) Find a real-world use for the coin.
2) Artificial mega-whale pump - this is how it gained the 1k Sat value but it seems BURST has lost its momentum when it took ages to get listed on Trex

any predictions? Price too low now!

Actually I think the price is good, It forces people to think about things other than dumping.

It's not anymore profitable with current difficulty.
1 of my HDD of 2 TB crashed after 1 months of mining burst. 24 hours a day reading the plot was too much stressed for him. Of course, it was an "old" HDD, i don't have bought, by however i lost 1 hdd.  Sad Sad Sad
Probably he's time has arrived however, but i can't say now which kind of stress could affect HDD after months of mining 24 hours a day.

lol, for example my last dadline is 707506293144
Does this tell me, that my plot file is fucked?

I'd say so. I don't know how much space your using, but on 2TB you'll almost always stay under 2mill at the current difficulty. Billions or higher is bad unless you have like a 10MB plot file.

i'm receiving the same error with the HD where i plotted 5.5M, i must replot then? the hd is fucked? what's is going on? because it was working right fews days ago

btw i plotted with cpu

I don´t know what happened, but seems like deadlines so long are a sign for messed up plots.
I started replotting like 8h ago and i´m @2,7TB now, looked up the latest deadline in the miner and it´s around 500.000,
so way better than before.

I really had no glue, that 2.0.1 doesn´t work with latest amd drivers.
So i mined almost a week for nothing, that would explain, why i got no money out of the pool,
performance was so bad, it was almost like mining with zero capacity.

So far only 200 assets have sold for BMPOOL.
If the community does not want the idea of community owned hardware to continually create buy pressure, then I will not press it.  God knows I am busy enough already with the hashrate NXT community pool.

The asset # on the Burst AE is 11375670541237055652

Unless there are some more sizable investors soon, the idea will be abandoned and I will issue buy orders to buy back every share that was sold.

(the pool would not be investing in hashlets or the same Scrypt/SHA ASIC hardware that anyone else can buy and get hosted - we would be purchasing additional Scrypt-N FPGA hosted equipment the same way the Hashrate pool has recently invested (as it has an absolutely amazing ROI - less than 6 weeks).
no, I won't post the FPGA provider or manufacturer either. Smiley

I don't have much capital but whatever I mine will go towards buying these.

I think you would get a more positive response if you were able to provide a bit more detail. Otherwise, we're just supposed to trust that you have a secret, extremely profitable Scrypt-N FPGA + hosting setup that is currently unheard of / unavailable to anyone else? If you can really see returns in less than 6 weeks, you should have investors lining up for miles, jumping and shouting to get in.

Is anyone else experiencing low payouts today?
I got 5 Tb ploted and another hard filling up, but only 1000 coins to show up for 12 hours of mining today

I have over 30 TB and jumped from http://burst-pool2.cryptoport.io/ to solo mining because of low payment value (about 8000 per last 24h).

WOWO !!! REALLY LOW!!! with 30TB i think you can goo a good job in solo too!

O have found 2 blocks since yesterday. About 2,5 times more then on the pool.

any predictions? Price too low now!

Price will fall. There are too many miners and too many coins delivered per day.

Actually more miner don't mine more coins... It's the other way round: If there are more miners there is more distribution and everyone gets less coins.

There is no demand on the exchanges and too many sellers. Some good articles in the crypto-world would change a lot. Maybe dev wants to make a interview with a big blog?

We need hard fork reducing mining block from 9500 to 1000 Wink

Apart from that you can work the first anonymizer based on the technology of extraction, whose one else before did not have build.
There is a very strong community should give advice with expansion coins and arrives at a point of strong price level.

1000 BURST block right now will kill BURST faster than everything you could image.
The coin grows with the features it delivers, not because you dramatically reduce the coin in circulation.
Let's do a quick math: I assume the bottom floor of BURST would be 100 sat, we have now 360*9500 =3.42mil BURST per day. So BURST needs 3.42BTC per day to keep the 100 sat price. Too little IMHO given the money people has invested in HDD to mine BURST now (hashrate over 6Peta).
Give this coin a little more time, what do you expect from a 1 month old coin? To the moon too fast meaning crashing will be much badly hurt.

Just my 2 BURSTs.

Aizen

That's a decisione from the dev.
He release the coin,he know what to do asap to not let it die.
After 1 months from release,he need to focus on the way to keep burst alive in market.
Cause we're talking all about market.

HDD mining works great.
But market, improvement, block reduction etc have to been on the radar.

Maybe he's already satisfied with BURST and if die doesn'm matter. He could build a new one with lower max supply, better promotions etc etc.
Or he can make improvement on BURST if he want to survive from this jungle.

Early birds of burst already done much profit, so we have to thanks dev for this coin.
Now, it's too late to join. Diff too high and price stagnant to 100-200 satoshi.
And every day more millions holder are wating for a little price rise to cash and dump again.

Just so that everyone knows, http://burst.today/?page_id=2  now has the beta of the GUI available for download.

It's just a BETA right now, and it only does solo mining at the moment.

We are going to be setting up a private pool that will work with it here shortly as well. But yea, you can at the very least use this if you are NEW TO BURST AND DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!!

THIS PROGRAM WILL HELP YOU DOWNLOAD EVERYTHING, AND PLOT, THEN IT WILL HELP YOU TO START SOLO MINING. IF YOU WANT TO USE IT JUST TO PLOT, THEN POOL MINE, YOU CAN DO THAT AS WELL.

I'm trying to  get a few newbies to test it, and let me know what they think so that I can pass the words to the developer. We will be making updates regularly, and changes as people request them. Hoping to keep adding value to BURST!

Thanks!

Hi, attempting to mine burst using the new GUI, wallet installs fine, when I click begin plotting, i get  an error box stating 'unhandled exception has occurred,, Index was outside the bounds of array'

any ideas?
cheers

Pool back up with GUI working right this time

http://burstpool.ddns.net
Do the reward assignment to address BURST-7CPJ-BW8N-U4XF-CWW3U, wait 4 confirms then you can mine on pool.
Come on people, lets test this, see if it works. Spread the hashrate. Current pools are overloaded.
Miner connects to port 8124
1% fee.

Waiting for people to come forward, stating that they started to mine here and what space they got.
