Who knows how difficulty can jump from 7000 to 12000? What is a reason? May be there is a bug in algorithm?

after finalizing the stagger, i'm getting high deadline

using the new uray miner

I even cant use it , which stagger size did you optimize ? Smiley

1M(1000000)
Yeah its pritty high , which size are your plots? I want optimizing my stagger , but my HDDs are full of plots and I havent space for doing it..

my plots size is 1M each and the last one 400k, 12 in total
Hi guys
after i optimzed my plotes (3600gb) i cant find any shares??? any one have any ideas?
i mining in v2pool now. Cry

same, the optimization isn't working at all, only giving me high deadline....

getting this after plotting with gpu

oh lol silly me i forgot to remove the merge.bat exe from the plots folder LOL

why do you need that such large stagger size?
to reduce disk seek?

i just clicked on the optimized button  Cheesy

is it too much? because the deadline is extremly high

If I have 5x 4 TB HDDs (Total 20 TB) each of which can carry 18x 195 GB plots practically.
So now my question is which of the following 2 scenario is better for pool mining,

01. I attach them to 5 different PCs & create plots in order (i.e. first 18 plots on first PC, next 18 on second PC & so on) without overlapping nonce & run pool miner on each of them (i.e. 1 miner running on each of 5 PCs).

OR

02. I attach all 5 of them to a single PC, use FAR Manager or some RAID software to virtually make it a single 20 TB HDD & run one instance of pool miner.

I am asking this because for CPU/GPU mining I know that bigger share gets more coins but does the same thing apply in case of burst pool mining ? or there won't be much difference in the above 2 scenario.

P.S. My concern is only regarding pool mining not regarding solo mining because for solo it's obvious that 2nd scenario is the best.

Thanks.

so uray, it's the merge tool fucked, or your miner can't utilized 1000000 as a value for stagger?

New Native C++ Miner Update 1.0 R3

its for http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io and http://burst-pool2.cryptoport.io or any pool that use my code

binaries and source available here : https://github.com/uraymeiviar/burst-miner/releases/tag/1.0
for [ osx ], [ linux64 ] and [ win64 ]

what is the difference between this and the original miner in java? Wink

It's better Wink

Actually, Uray, what's so good about it(is it better than dcct's?)

1. it has random delay before sending to pool, so share submission will be distributed better, and less submission error due to less submission spike on pool.

2. it will auto retry to re-submit if failed

3. plot reading and nonce submission is on separate thread, so it wont pause reading while miner trying to submit nonce to pool

4. it compile on windows and osx Cheesy

Wow, thanks!  Wink

i found block #13667 solo. Deadline was 454. Saw it in my wallet. Recieved new block for work #13668. After few hours that block (and coins) disapeared from wallet...

Orphaned or stale blocks

Pool and solo mining is practically the same in this aspect..

Ensure you have enough ram and do speed tests first...

Maybe some bigger miners will share their thoughts...

Hi Miners,
if i had round 12TB on one burst address and 14TB on the other address.
What could be the best option?
1. Mining solo?
2. Dev.Pool2
3. Urrays Pool?

Is the GPU Plotter now in a functional status?

Thanks 😎

What could be the best option?
1. Mining solo? Yes if you're patient
2. Dev.Pool2 No unless you're impatient

Not sure, but I can say that my optimized plots work perfectly. Chances are, if an optimized plot isn't working properly the original plot wasn't either.

It says I have mined nearly 7,000,000 (seven million coins) but whenever I send coins to a burst address I get the amount in red + the transaction fee and a red stop sign next to it in the recent transactions list on the wallet page...

The payment is not going through...

I will attach an image of this here;

https://www.dropbox.com/s/yabl0wm9qmfxrrx/Screenshot%202014-09-19%2017.51.26.png?dl=0
What kind of setup do you have to have mined 7 MILLION coins???

You are on the old (forked) blockchain... If you have a smaller mining rig, that might explain why you got so many coins (cause you are the only one on it).

you optimized with old merge tool or new optimize tool??
original plot were fine and mine was ok but after optimization ...not a single share in hours

I've got a problem.  I switched back to solo mining on 10.43 TB of disk space a few days ago, and have received no new BURST coins.  I realized last night that even though I am using the solo miner, somehow I am still mining in a pool and have about 70,000 BURST coins in a wallet with a different BURST address.

I have only ever used one made up password, which created one long chain of numbers to access my wallets, but there have been a couple different 12 word strings for those wallets.

I only have the 12 word string for a wallet with 45 coins in it.

I do not have the 12 word string copied anywhere for the wallet with 70,000 coins in it.

I can go into my wallet with 10,945 coins and type the BURST address in the search box to see how many coins are in that 70,000 coin wallet, but how do I get into that wallet to get those coins into a wallet I can access?

And just as importantly, how do I change the code in my config file of what I thought was a solo miner to really be a solo miner?

I don't know why I am taking the time to answer you, but here goes...

it seems to me that somehow you got assigned to a different wallet address, how? I have no idea...

what you need to do , is go to your localhost:8125/rewardassignment.html and assign your passphrase to your own burst address, then you should be ready to go.

That should be all that needs to happen, you will see a transaction from your account of 1 burst, to yourself, after 4 confirms, you can solo mine again.

Thanks, now I remember that rewardassignment.html thing.  I had to change it when I went to pool mining.  Now for the real question - how do I get into that wallet to get those 70,000 coins back into my other wallet?

If you could do that without knowing the password, burstcoin would be broken.

You can ask pool owner Smiley
