Someone on ebay offered me $300 for my $340 worth of hard drives (4 X 3TB).  I countered with $320 and they said ok.  I closed the ebay auction to avoid paying ebay fees on the sale, and sent them a paypal invoice, which they promptly paid.  This all happened last night.

So when I get home today, I will give each drive a quick format, then pack them up and ship them out at a local UPS store, and get them on their way to Chicago, their new home!

In summation, my profitability from BURST coin wasn't much.  The drives cost me $329.92 to acquire.  The other drives I used, I already had.  I got $310 and change after the Paypal commission was stolen from my money.  When I cashed in 14000+ BURST at 698 satoshis it was worth about $50 in BTC.

Last night I transferred my remaining 10,932 BURST coin to C-CEX, where it'll sit until (and IF) the price rises.  I think BURST has shot its load, the developers have taken their profits, and will never get over 500 satoshis again.  I get amusement from watching you people desperately try to talk the price up, and I am confident it'll never happen.  Compare the historical price charts for BURST and CRYPT.  Almost identical.

My 10,932 BURST is available for sale at 800 satoshis per coin to anyone who wants them.  PM me with your offers.

So through my BURST coin experience, I learned new programming manipulations to do plot generation both on CPUs and GPUs, I "borrowed" an AMD 8320 Vishera from the local Fry's store and returned it, I experienced the supreme headache that is Java based mining, and I got some pieces of config file code that will auto restart a program in case it randomly shuts down.

So thats enough of this crap coin for me.

urays if it works as it has no dedline minimum I believe. as the dev pool has a limit to deadline length but to switch between pools it req you to replot or have used solo plots so choose wisley.but if your only just plotting up definatly plot solo using cpu plotter unless the gpu plotter has shorter deadlines now as previously it had deadlines of 1000s of years minimum you would be dead 10x before finding a block

Maybe you need to replot. I'm mining at both of Uray's pools and now everything is smooth.
There is only 1 thing I couldnt hang on with and this is Urays R3 miner. I think it has some IP regional restriction, but there is no problem with JAVA miner ..for now...

Wow I can't believe you're still here. As in I seriously can't believe it. You've probably posted in this thread over 100 times, most of the time sounding like a whinny little school girl. If someone disliked this coin as much as you claim to, they would move on and stop paying attention to it. This contrasts the hours of your life you've spent bashing this coin. Something doesn't add up. Either you're trying to manipulate the price of this coin by spreading FUD, or something isn't right in that head of yours.

Either way, tim is the last person you want to listen to for advice.

I got it running, but it was never as good as it should have been, plus once all my hard drives were online I had 10.43 TB mining for me and went a WEEK with no new blocks found.  Pool miner wasn't much better.

I am not bitching about my own stupidity, I am bitching about the developer releasing a half-assed miner and extremely vague instructions that just assumed I knew all the technical lingo particular to this coin, and it took a lot of work to figure out what he actually meant and get it working right.  And his idea for using a Java miner was a poor choice, and not using a standard -Qt wallet like almost every other coin in the world only made it more unnecessarily complex to figure out.

Personally, I'm always trying to talk the price *down*, and I'm happy to hear you doing so.  Keep it up!  I don't care about the price in October, I care about the price in five years.  I don't have the emotional discipline for short-term trading, and it also seems unlikely that you do.
