ok no problem sorry if it distasteful to you but it's not some dirty secret to me how much shadow i hold if i held 10 k i would proudly announce it, never understood why people are so secretive here in crypto world about there holdings, i did well lucky me hope the same for every one else i wasn't rubbing it in or nothing.

if i wanted everybody to know my holdings I'd have invested in Bitcoin Wink LOL
you're a good chap dadon and would only advise discretion since you are a very large holder.
i think your a good chap also and im not here only for the money i do want to build my wife and children an empire, hope i succeed..but i am really passionate about freedom and liberty's jealous of yanks and your constitution and your guns laws i even watch alex jones on youtube most days haha  we should get shadow on there, he has huge audience.

WHOA! perhaps i misunderstood- jealous of Gitmo Nation? Not me Sir.

mate i live in australia we are much more draconian. i can't even buy a paintball gun without having a license or a air rifle without a full gun license beat that, at least over there you still have states who will never give up there liberty's, australia should of never given up there guns big mistake but anyways this is the shadow thread getting off topic here.

Fair enough. You're a gun guy. I'm really not.
I've always found the idea of a gun-toting libertarian hard to reconcile ("Get off my land or I'll pop a cap in your ass" etc etc)

BUT when the revolution/zombie-apocalypse comes I cannot deny we'll need chaps like you (and nutters too),  Wink Cheesy

Gun laws aside the USA has a lot to answer for and much of what the US Govt does these days flies in the face of the principles set up by those gun-toting Founding Fathers of the U.S.A. America is no friend to privacy and/or liberty IMO. If Ryno and Techo lived in the US I'd feel far less confident in the Shadow Project.

haha i just think everyone should be able to do what they want if they don't hurt no one doing it, personally i hate hunting but i like the idea of having a weapon at hand if someone breaks in my house to protect my family since the police are only there to clean up the mess.
and if we didn't use guns to kill people we would use something else, we always have we always will, so why ban guns? because some nut kills a bunch of people, that's the same logic as spying on everyone because a few are terrorists, it's all an excuse to fuck us over so yeah im not a gun toter but i would like the liberty to have a gun in my house to protect my family without all the hurdles they make you deal with, it's easier for criminals to get guns here then law abiding citizens and that's never good.

I love the America that existed before it got usurped and before the constitution and declaration of independence got shredded.  Regardless of which geographic area you live, we should remember the ideals presented in America's founding, and their Declaration.  There are self-evident laws of nature that we all need to assert the same way the Founding Fathers of America did.  I love Shadow, because it exists within this same vein, built on the foundation of privacy and freedom, and supported by decentralization.

Well said.

What went wrong? This is part of it…

Military-Industrial Complex Speech, Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1961

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the militaryindustrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

Check out the new Shadow promotional video!

Already more than 1000 views Roll Eyes

SDC is kind of shooting itself in the foot with the emphasis on the upcoming market instead of marketing itself as a unique anonymous coin. That's a lot to do with the members on this thread who are pumping the market instead of what already exists as an anonymous solution that can be used right now. It's like the good things are "coming" when they are already here.

Relatively speaking, I can't see why cryptonote coins can have >10mn in combined marketcap, and SDC only 1mn when it's based on the more compatible bitcoin code.

+1 (minus the foot shot Smiley)

I could not agree more. Too much focus on what is coming + completely overlooking what is here already i.e. ShadowSend.
Before too long I hope to see many markets, online casinos, charities etc accepting shadow cash for anonymous payments.

Cryptonote uses a different curve, different libraries, and a whole different underlying core.
We used ring signatures to spend Shadow, which is created by sending SDC as an anonymous output.
Our scheme is quite a bit different, in that we borrow concepts from zerocoin, with the minting and spending, and use ring signatures to make the inputs untraceable from the outputs.. We're also using PoS instead of PoW.
Its a completely unique scheme and implementation Smiley

That would be cool, but converting from SDC to Shadow is very lightweight compared to spending shadow as ring signature generation, signing and verification only happen when spending shadow.

I think the important thing to bear in mind, is that you have the ability to make your SDC disappear, or to remove the link between the coinbase / last shadow conversion Smiley

It is only a matter of time before people realize the gem that Shadow is.

yes.
Now we are talking! If these last few posts together with the verifiable code does not make it clear that SDC is the real thing and a disruptive rocket being rolled towards its launch pad you either can't piss a hole in the snow being so ignorant, are generally pissed of with live or have an agenda......

And so +1 on emphasizing what is already a powerful solution right now.

ok convincend about this project. but I want to know.. what can this coin do in terms of price in the upcoming weeks months?

thanks

with shadowsend v2 I'm surprised we are not already at $1+
It is most probably the best anon in crypto today. (why mince my words? it is the best)
perhaps after the next hard fork we will be.

this project is ambitious and gaining momentum rapidly. if the market is running smoothly (later in the year) and has growing adoption numbers then that'll be huge.

I don't see what is keeping people so interested in the cryptonote coins...
I've recently traded my Drk for Shadow,
Drkcoin is great, good team, but they've implemented what they sought to & I'm no longer sure how I feel about a two tier system, ie; regular users & masternodes.
I really like shadow's encrypted messaging feature & marketplace idea...
-Much Love to both communities-
But cryptonote coins are heavily overvalued now in my opinion...
I'm very excited to be on board with shadowcash
beautiful wallet !
I'm excited for POS v2, staking one tenth of your coins is annoying.
& Im glad to hear that a dev who created messaging for cinni is on board,
& so is someone from Blackcoin.
Did I get all that right ?

Anyways, very impressive so far ShadowCash community !
Happy to be here.

ok no problem sorry if it distasteful to you but it's not some dirty secret to me how much shadow i hold if i held 10 k i would proudly announce it, never understood why people are so secretive here in crypto world about there holdings, i did well lucky me hope the same for every one else i wasn't rubbing it in or nothing.

if i wanted everybody to know my holdings I'd have invested in Bitcoin Wink LOL
you're a good chap dadon and would only advise discretion since you are a very large holder.
i think your a good chap also and im not here only for the money i do want to build my wife and children an empire, hope i succeed..but i am really passionate about freedom and liberty's jealous of yanks and your constitution and your guns laws i even watch alex jones on youtube most days haha  we should get shadow on there, he has huge audience.

I found many many years ago that Jones has ZERO interest in Solutions.
He only seeks to harp on about doom & gloom & sell miracle tea & water filters, lol.
Unbearable to listen to for me.

ShadowCash's marketplace could really help AGORISM:
The practise of keeping one's financial transactions in grey & black markets for ethical reasons.

My situation: I make soap.
Hand made, simple, beautiful, small scale & I sell it in town for a really great price, mostly as a community service.
This nation's government has recently decided that anyone making such things needs to register with the ministry of sanitation to have government agents come to my house, inspect where i make soap, turn my house into a commercial facility, take photos.... & some months later, MAYBE assign me a sanitation registration number so I can legally sell my 10 bars of soap per week...
Absolutely ridiculous...
There is a concerted effort, worldwide, to block out small scale artisan producers in order to favour large corporations who make crappy products & who sell them at the highest possible prices.
I have little interest in a new silk road, although I do support that.
But my major interest is in local communities organizing & getting back into production & barter.
ShadowMarketplace can be a great tool for empowering local trade & I will be selling my soap on day 1.
Maybe I'll even make a soap with a shadowcash logo for fun.

There is a war on free market human activity.  Such activity will never be fully squashed by governments.  They cannot even keep drugs out of high security prisons.  Light bulbs are being phased out now all across the globe.  Everything is banned or illegal.  You need permission to do everything.  Well, with ShadowMarket you don't need permission to sell your soaps anymore. Usually lye is used in making soaps, but hey wait that is used for making drugs like speed too.  So anticipate bans, restrictions, and regulations on lye in the future if not already.  I heard of an old woman ordering a bunch of lye for soap making, and she got SWAT raided in America.  You may be better off ordering your lye off ShadowMarket.  If things continue the way they are going, these markets are going to explode in popularity.

Whores, man. They're a perfect fit for crypto because they're the only illegal vendor that doesn't have a supplier to pay, and thus no need to dump coin for fiat. It will protect a lot of people involved in it from arrest and abuse too.

Allright, your Cash has been sent Smiley
thanks i got them

i can safely say i feel more comfortable holding SDC than Bitcoin...Never thought id say that about an alt coin to be honest. Maybe it shouldnt even be considered an alt coin 0.o
+1 something special happening here been holding and watching this grow since august last year so much has been delivered in so short a time and the ideas and the vision the team has is one in a million, this team is like next level shit  was shocked to hear the devs had only been working part time, and pleasantly surprised when i saw 13 people in total will now be working on shadow 4 people full time, more will probably join.. can only begin to imagine what shadow will look like this time next year, if they delivered this much so far working part time watch out Bitcoin the shadows are closing in.
amazing haha nice  Roll Eyes
i sense sarcasm is okay you have to understand me being over enthusiastic when i hold 170k of the next bitcoin that i bought for nothing i have reason to be excited  Wink and soon maybe have more, shadow is the next big thing you know it i know it.

Wow, 170k, seriously ? Nice
addy?

I don't think thats entirely appropriate to ask that tbh. But it cant hurt to try i guess.

so how many you hold LongAndShort, give us an idea at least
More then 0 and less then 6.5million

ok no problem sorry if it distasteful to you but it's not some dirty secret to me how much shadow i hold if i held 10 k i would proudly announce it, never understood why people are so secretive here in crypto world about there holdings, i did well lucky me hope the same for every one else i wasn't rubbing it in or nothing.

My opinion is, how much someone owns dosn't matter. It can always potentially be used against you. To me that is the point of supporting privacy coins so you arn't tracked or traceable. In this world where people hide behind computers and have little understanding of the world around them and little respect for others privacy find it fitting to use it against them when they see most fit.

Thats just on this forum, however, i'm really talking about a much bigger issue and people deserve the right of peace of mind and deserve the right to walk about, surf the net and hold as much or as little money as they want. Without being tracked if they don't want to. I don't see a benefit in knowing how much you own dadon but only a problem that someone can use against you and invasion of privacy when how much you own does not really matter.

If someone wants to ask you how much you own thats fine. I call it inappropriate to ask because the answer either way, almost always, ends in some kind of  unnecessary judgment. No matter what way its answered and thats not a fair way to treat someone you are friendly or not friendly with.

In my culture its always been something that is frowned upon, people asking how much you are worth or how much you have of a certain currency ect ect. If i wanted people to know they would. Just like you are ok telling the world Smiley

Different cultures i guess even tho we live in the same country!

dadon, we dont have a constitution here in Australia.  Sad

But i am glad that every second nutbag around here doesnt have a gun, so i dont see the need for one myself.  But if i was in usa then i would want a gun for sure.

We don't have a bill of rights. When and if the shit hits the fan, decisions can be made on a whim without being scrutinised. To be honest not many people know those decisions can already be made without being scrutinised they just abuse that power often because it could destabalise the peace. But yeah, they will use it one day, i have no doubt and it wont be in our favor.

Funny how relaxed we are here and complacent given the fact we are sitting on a ticking time bomb that will inevitably go off right?

Americas fathers logic for guns was always to be able to protect themselves from goverment. we don't have any kind of protection furthermore they extorted or engineered the port arthur massacre to remove the semi autos
they even dismantled the ability to be in a biker club. Which dosn't leave us much at all to protect ourselves.

Not something we think of much here as you know but its a potential issue all the same. Especially now with how disconnected the government is from the bottom rungs of our society. We shall see some sort of social collapse soon.
I would even go as far to say we could end up like greece, having our money taken from our bank accounts!
