There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I'm going to hold off on buying back in on the hope that we make it back down to $5.15.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

oops, we made a new high after that little drop everyone was worried about

Don't worry, it'll continue Smiley

Does nobody believe in long-term trends anymore?

I'm actually lowering my bids.  I'm expecting a large sell-off.  I think we're going to go under $5 again.

The moment we break out of this 4.50 - 5.50 ping pong, you're in huge trouble.

Why?  It's very likely going down before it goes up.  I'll get back in under $5 before the price moves back up over $5 again.

How about buy btc for eur and sell for usd, convert to eur and start again?

The paining (sic!) is done with the QPainter class inside the paintEvent() method.
