This rally is definitely on hold for a while.

just like it would definitely be below $5 again when you woke up in the morning?

No, hopefully not like that, since I was wrong.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

this was really weird. rally from $5.20 to $5.50, then retrace back to $5.20? Looks more like a bubble than a rally. perhaps echo bubble 4. sideways with a slow grind up due to buying pressure seems the most likely near-future forecast.

The dollar is rising, look around you.  Bitcoin is holding up better than most other assets.

Seems like its retracing the same path that happened a couple of weeks ago.

I'm bearish for the short term, bullish for the medium term, and very slightly bullish for the long term in that I think a year from now we'll be in the single digits but higher than we are right now.

Just to clarify, are you currently expecting we'll touch below $5, before heading back up?

Yes.

Wow good call! Proudhon should start a subscription service..

I've seen 38% unknown hash before. It doesn't happen frequently. It sometimes happens when a bunch of solo miners get really lucky or someone starts up another big o'l mining botnet for a few days. It will probably even out.
