I expect BitInstant guys will get the word out well, probably just giving it a day or two to settle, there were a few bugs and fees displaying incorrectly.

Does it actually means anything to the price that there less buy orders then sell orders? There is currently more volume in buy orders than sell orders. However it doesn't usually mean that much, some of it is only for show.

Could Intersango buy coins at their own exchange to make up for the Bitcoinica loss?

Could Intersango buy coins at their own exchange to make up for the Bitcoinica loss? I doubt that they would do that as such a premium above the market price. Also, they have publicly stated that they were just hired to help secure Bitcoinica.
