I don't think people realize that cypher's emails don't always have to do with bitcoin.  He comments a lot on PM and the stock market.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Unusually big bid walls in both Intersango EUR and Bitstamp. I trade on both regularly and this is new. There is a 3000 BTC bid fairly close to the spot price at Sango and a _9000_ BTC bid close to spot at Bitstamp. These have appeared fairly soon after the "Europeans moving money to BTC" articles. Compared to the usual liquidity in these exchanges those bids are absolutely huge.

Interesting, very interesting indeed.

Wow look at that cliff  Grin

Upon looking what is the second cliff on $5.20 doing? Someone expecting to cash in if the price goes back to $5.20?
Sounds to me like the person is expecting a drop to 5.20 and then a pretty sizable rebound  Smiley

The dude with the $50,000 bid moved his offer to $5.6. It's the spot price at Bitstamp and many other exchanges as well. At Mt. Gox USD $50k bid depth goes down to $5.46 which means that right now Bitstamp has the strongest bid liquidity close to the spot price. It's interesting to see how this will affect the market.
