A bit off topic, but is there a way to consolidate all of my Bitstar to one address?

With regards to the previous discussion about Casheer, have you seen the preliminary listing of the coins they are going to bring on board?

http://forum.casheer.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=55&p=360#p360

There are some absolute stinkers there and any service which is happy to promote 'Titcoin' is an offensive joke, in my opinion. How the hell is the crypto industry supposed to present a mature and accessible image if it is still parading around absurd and sexist coins? You can't even argue, "Well, it's for the porn industry, so . . ." because, no, 'Titcoin' wouldn't be acceptable for the male gay porn industry for obvious reasons. At least the concept of 'XXXcoin' as an adult-industry currency is all-encompassing, whatever you might think of its usefulness, or otherwise.

I am very aware of the tendency for coin projects to desperately scrabble to be accepted onto emerging payment platforms, often solely to give the pretence that it adds something useful and, by association, causes a brief uptick in the market price, but the type of investors who need to be hearing vapid news like that every other day to calm their infantile emotional outbursts when the market doesn't triple in value overnight, every night, are not the type of member willing to play a constructive role in a coin's community.

Long on undeserved sense of entitlement, short on ambition. That is the typical attitude of those who demand to be made rich simply by clicking their mouse and freeloading off the back of the hard work of others.

Speaking of ambition, there are some extremely, extremely, interesting plans in the pipeline for this coin. It isn't going to happen overnight, but it is going to happen. I say this, not because I want to artificially pump the price and then watch it slowly deflate a week later as the nanosecond of patience the above type of trader has for ongoing coin development evaporates, prompting petulant posts and hissy fits if the market price goes so much as sideways. I say this because I know that there are a core group of supporters within this community who deserve to know that their patience and their participation will be rewarded handsomely . . .it might take a few months to get certain things in place, or it might happen sooner if the opportunity presents, but it will happen.

In slight defense of Casheer, I will say that the idea is to support a ton of coins and have it all happen seamlessly and automatically, which I think is still a great idea. Unfortunately, they seem to have allowed the inclusion of coins based on hype and how active the communities for those coins lobbied for inclusion. I know that we did lobby for Bitstar, but apparently the TitCoin people were seriously desperate. I hope that Casheer is successful because the root idea is sound, but more than likely if it is, only a fraction of the starting coins will still be supported in the long run.

This is the safest coin I hold. I bought a long time ago on a screenshot. I have had them since, along with some that others here have selflessly given me. While holding them I watched. My very first post was in this thread. Not only have I been very pleased with my hold, but the community here is exactly what I look for. A very focused group. The amount of coins on the exchanges for trade is minimal because the people that own bits are mature investors. This thread has continued to keep pnd at bay. To be honest I don't care what the price is because my ultimate goal is to get more bits. Thank you for the post above. They are what I think every time I see flippers enter this conversation. As far as casheer I would not give up on them. I am still in conversation with them and actually they Favorited a week old post i tweeted about bitstar/casheer yesterday. They are watching us. I have good relations with holy transaction wallet and I am going to subconsciously push bits at them  Cheesy Did I mention my respect for the bits dev? An everyday guy that works a day job and is very honest about his schedule. Not one time have I been disappointed here. Love this coin! When is the last time your bought a coin that you could sleep on for months? How many devs abandon ship when the coin depreciates? The innovation surpasses most in crypto. Bitstarcoin is a pearl in the sea of scams.

Someone is stacking up lots of bits without any major price effect. Everything beeing bought below 1000 sat and creating buy wall below it. Chance to have updated rich list? I have theory and like to see changes of top 50 rich list.

What kind of theory?  you make me curious  Grin

Lets just say if I would like to buy large portion of coins in the market in quiet then I would do it like that. And after that I would announce something. But this is just speculation Wink

Just a quick heads up, we have a slight change in the ecommerce system plans for the better... We're now working on both a full ecommerce system and free listing auctions both covered by escrow all in one system, we just need to finish writing the payment gateway, escrow system and bulk listing tools (import from ebay, google base, amazon etc).

We are also thinking of allowing BTC/LTC and maybe doge on the site to draw their community's to Bitstar.  We'll then write a api so we can also allow users to buy/sell in wallet as originally planned.

More news and tease screen shots coming soon!

Just doing some design changes, currently it looks and works very much like ebay although It's also able to handle digital downloads.

We'll of course have 0 fees for listing, 0 fees for creating a shop, very low end value listing fees, and there will then be optional extra fees like listing on the front page etc.

for non bitstarcoins you could charge about 3 percent in fees , it is a low amount and users will barely notice however it could realy add up if it is heavily used and is a fair price for providing such a service.

those coins should/could be spent on further development

thanks for the update , sounds nice Smiley

I'm currently thinking of doing a 2% fee on all coins, then for bitstar only they get a 1% rebate once a month to spend on the site, and let it roll over too, kind of like loyalty points maybe.  But that's just a idea atm.
