Staking question: I've moved all my Bitstar coins into one address (the other addresses all have a balance of zero now). When I start staking again, will the new coins that are created in the process get distributed across all my addresses, or will they only go to the one with all the coins in it?

Also is there a way to simply "delete" an address with a zero balance that I'll never use again?

They should go back to the same address.  You can't delete an address, but you could start a new wallet.dat and then import the priv key from the address you want to keep.

Awesome... uh, how do I import the key? I've never done that before with any wallet. (Sorry if that's a "newb" question.)

To get key.. Help ->debug> console > dumpprivkey ADDRESSHERE
to put in new wallet Help ->debug> console > importprivkey PRIVKEYHERE labelifwanted

Hi, I am wondering if I have been missed out on a payment /payments from the multipool as I mined it from 5pm my time Monday last week to 5pm Friday, as well as a few hours of Saturday/Sunday because I had it as a fall back while I was mining another pool.

Thanks.

Hi, payments were delayed due to the sync problem, they will go through today.

Thank you.

Slight extra delay so I can give users some free coins in the payment Smiley

Payment received, happy days, thank you.

ADDRESSHERE = wallet address
PRIVKEYHERE = dumped key from previous command

Yeah that would be good. Can not be that good old coins with active dev and community get delisted and all new scam coins get listed!

Automatic or not, the delisting announcement (still there) and the subsequent (consequent?) price drop has prompted me to buy some more  Smiley

Nothing new really. This has happened to BITS before due to low volume.
I'm just jealous someone bought a decent wad of coins at 600-700 sat!

Well, BITS has now well over 0.2 BTC trade vol per day for past 7 days.
So yeah, just going by that alone, Bittrex won't be delisting BITS. Cool

I suspect there are issues with Bitstar again.. wallet not syncing properly .. looking like forks are happening again.. I will reset my wallet (again).. seems to be same thing that happened a few weeks ago.  Anyone else having their wallet not sync or stake properly?

I have reconnected 3 times today with no problem that I am aware of and at this time have 10 connections.

I have also staked 3 times today as well.

Ok i flushed wallet and now resynching.. will take hours.. ill post if it works properly.. but i was getting strange issues with wallet like not synching and staking before synching while being about 1000 blocks from what block it should be at.. possible my wallet jumped on a fork?  I have removed all connections except those that are necessary.  Re-synching worked last time.. hoping it works again.  This is the same thing that happened to me a few weeks ago along with others.. just thought I would share my experience.

Thanks - yes, been there done that and hopefully won't have to again. Hope it works ok for you.

I was having sync problems myself yesterday -  the sync started ok but stalled after a minute or so and the connection was closed, so I closed the wallet and restarted it - the sync then began but again soon stalled (as I could see from the blk*.dat files) so I restarted the wallet again and this time the sync proceeded normally and the wallet was updated. This morning no problem.

@Bitstar_coin, maybe the op could be updated to include a short guide re what to do if someone is having problems synchronizing their wallet.
