Looking like wallet has lost its way again.. i can barely get any connections.. staking is all messed up.. forking again i gather.. mining on another node comments in my wallet.. developer needs to fix this or this coin will die...not the first time this has happened..its too bad cause it is one of the better staking wallets.. when its not forking..
I have the same problem. At the moment I'm on 457379 of 526204 , last block 15 days ago.

I am getting issues with my wallet as well. Although the screen shot is showing no connections I do get up to 3 sometimes but then they close down again back to 0. It shows last block Monday but it has been going on since Saturday or early Sunday. Thanks.

Well it seems I was stuck on one "bad" connection (would only connect to one peer).. so I again deleted all data in appdata and am now resynching wallet.. i suspect I was being drawn to a bad peer.. if that makes sense.. anyways.. resynching wallet now.. instantly got proper connections once i did that.. will take hours to resynch (yes latest wallet).. if you could figure out how to block the bad node or peer (not sure of term).. then maybe this won't happen again (3rd time for me in last 2 months) for myself and others.. wiping and resynching wallet 2-3 times a month is not good for a coin and its a pain in the ass.. there must be a way of preventing this from happening.. look forward to having this issue put to rest.. Cheers!

The checkpoints weren't being pushed when they should have been, that should now be fixed, so shouldn't have to resync any more.

I reopened my wallet which I have left it open 45 mins and it has not changed from how it was when I posted the image earlier, no change here. This is also the 3rd time I have had to rebuild my wallet it might even be the 4th time not sure. I hope what your saying holds out to be correct. Thanks.

The last time I rebuilt my Bitstar wallet I saved a complete clean copy in another folder before I put my saved wallet DATfile into it.
I am glad I did because it only needed to update 20 days so I didn't have to wait for it to update from the beginning and now I seem to have a completely new wallet with no issues at this time.
My wallet now seems to be working fine.

Redownloaded the entire blockchain (redo from scratch).. started messing up again right at the end.. i did a "repairwallet".. it fixed some stuff.. then closed down and re-opened the wallet.. did fine for a few minutes then started go off with multiple stakes every second or two.. back to one connection/no connection.. I doubt this is anything to do with my end.. as I have many wallets and no others are affected or have issues at this time. Then in transaction details it says 1/unconfirmed, has not been successfully broadcast yet or "broadcast through one node" ..it just goes nutz.. same problem still existing whatever you did today has not fixed anything for me and wasted another 4-5 hours downloading the blockchain again.. something needs to be fixed.. it is back to broken for me still and again. HELP! I will check back in a few days to see if anyone comes up with a fix..but wallet is broken for me.

First off make sure your on wallet 1.2.0.0, then you need to encrypt your wallet, as you staking while not in sync will be causing part of the problem, then go to %appdata%/bitstar and delete peers.dat. When you connect it will then carry on downloading the blocks. One of my test wallets had the same problem and the checkpoints fixed it.

I'm also having issues with sync. I also have huge issues with so many dust PoS transactions. I end up with like 1500-2000 tiny balances per 1 address if I leave it staking for few weeks. Causes massive slowdown to my wallet & PC in general. (using around 20% CPU constantly) I've manually consolidated before but after a 4 week holiday, the wallet is a complete mess again... Some other PoS coin wallets I have does not do this no matter how much / often I stake. (e.g. Supercoin) Why is that? Even with 100s of small PoS stakes during the day, each address remains at 1 to 2 balances. So yeah, I really hope this can be improved with the new wallet.

Just to add, once everyone is up to date again, this should stop happening. as we have checkpoints being pushed live again now.
More good news, development of the market place has started again (lots of bugs needed working on) and already spoken to some users that are ready to sell.

We're working on the dust issue too, the idea of it splitting the blocks is so blocks get broken down enough to keep the block speed nice and high, but I agree it does go too far. I'll also look how supercoin does it, but changing this function may require a hard fork, so for now we're making a button you can click to make a script send the coins back to yourself, this doesn't require a hard fork.

Yeah, I don't like the idea of hard forks unless absolutely necessary. So I guess what you suggested will be fine even if it's not automatic. P.S. Supercoin just released their source code today coincidentally enough. (if curious) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=736705.msg9588332#msg9588332

(if curious) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=736705.msg9588332#msg9588332Thanks, I may be able to do the cleaner on start up or shut down, maybe make that a option in the settings. Thanks will have a look at super coin, I know where the code is that halves the input, so will also run a test client and see if the network still accepts stake that isn't halved without a fork, maybe set the max halve to 10k coins, so below that it just takes the input as is.

OK, please all close wallets and re-open the checkpoint master is now back online. Please make sure your on the current wallet version also 1.2.0.0
perhaps I'm being unduly cautious but to be 100% sure, v. 1.2.0.0 is v.1.2.0-adgr - as shown in screenshot - correct? I assume it is because the wallet is up to date.

Last night when I rebuilt my wallet and started it I was also getting blocks in quick succession after it had synced up. It was saying "Expected time to earn reward 18 mins" so after the second one didn't confirm I closed it down. I have opened it this morning and it seems fine at the moment with 1 hour to expected reward.
