Just finished Reading my Financial magazine ( same magazine that advised me to buy Monero ) said we could see higher usd prices but if we keep going down, we could see 80 , even 16 usd by year end... this actually scares me a bit.

So let me get this straight, the magazine said the price could go up or down?  Roll Eyes

sorry , i was at work when i posted... Specific it said when some kind of support ( 2 year trend channel ) is broken , we could dip to 80 later this year , or worst case back to 16 dollar by next year.
But we could also go up to 700 / 1000 usd because of all the good news that is comming. hardware wallet , ... basically he just said that the comming weeks are really important for crypto and that xmr
is touching the lower lows of the 2 year trend channel ... so that creept me out a bit because the same person advised me ( and others ) to get into xmr 3 years ago Smiley

Thanks for the detail. That does sound scary.

What is scary? A $1000 XMR?  I do believe only few weeks ago many would argue with this statement.

Monero is also affected by the negative atmosphere in the whole market. Monero's price is down. I think the price of the most robust projects could be much higher.

So I've thought of a sure fire way to manipulate the market, send me xmr to sell if you want the price to rise and btc to buy if you want it to fall. Smiley
AND double your chances by doing the same with cAPSLOCK! Cheesy

I would say I am more interested than concerned. I think the news from this will be mixed. But then again they may surprise us and it could be very positive or very negative, but I think that right now the prevailing trend for these kinds of things is fairly mixed.

I imagine we may here more about the crime angle with crypto.  I would love to hear even the faintest sounds of thoughts of embrace by reserve banks.  But I doubt that.

The market has not stopped crashing.  Why?  I think this is a fairly natural and possibly healthy correction after a heated runup last year helped along by the whole BCash debacle, Kobayashi, futures markets and some manipulation, etc.  And the alts, like XMR will fall in line with Daddy Bitcoin.
