That´s a pice of graphic design. What sofware/web is?

https://cryptowat.ch/poloniex/xmrbtc/4h

It's da best.  Move over Bitcoin Wisdom.

This is nice! 'wisdom has been less than satisfactory lately.  Good to have such a highly featured alternative.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I no longer fear drops, because they will all fill in double-time, as miner dumps cease to supply below the USD $1.10 mark.

Overconfidence is the market's cue to surprise us and take our money, like the proverbial man getting mugged while walking across a meadow.   Cheesy

I dunno.  The times, they are a-changin'...  difficulty rising, block reward dropping, community growing.  A new, higher floor price seems likely to me.

I was a bit too greedy setting my bids last night and missed getting as much as I wanted in the mid 250s.  Have been trying to get anything below freezing today with no success and now there is a small 6K buy wall at 275+. Undecided

As Bob Marley said, "now that you got what you want, don't you want more".  Wink

Start with countries off-sides from the U.S. which aren't under international sanctions.  Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, UAE, Uruguay, Fiji, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Laos, Myanmar....

Thanks, I'll check these out when I get a chance. Out of that list I would think UAE or Venezuela would be the safest?

Those two are powder kegs with lit fuses.

You need non-confiscatory political stability and citizens that understand how to civilization.   Fiji/Seychelles are tiny, isolated paper statelets with backward/primitive natives.

That limits the list to Uruguay, with Laos and Myanmar tied for a very distant second place.

LMK if you need help down there.  I love Tannat

Thanks for pointing that out just checked.

I'll check the others later.

Maybe host mirrored exchange frontend with backend residing on IP2?

Mining difficulty just passed 1 gig - for the first time since the listing spikes, AFAIK.

As long as it is sustained that speaks great for our future prospects. More network security!

Is it too much to ask for a "bot" to post what the market is looking like, on every hour, along with details about block filling just like they have for the Bitcoin speculation thread?

If there will be a dump I guess there are also takers.  Kiss
Nibbling from asks and supporting the bids is a good strategy to go IMO. Nibbling ensures you get at least some coins at fair value and supporting the bids averages your cost average a little bit. Do not be too greedy with bids though.  Wink

Dear Risto,
could you be so kind to reevaluate your calculations from April 2015. I think it would be interesting to see what happens to thos assumptions with nearly a year more of MONERO  Grin Shocked

I second this request.

By all means if you have time i would like to see this too.  Risto your insight is always helpful to me.

The whole methodology is quoted there; just change the numbers, I hope you do not need me to do it..  Grin

Well, i do believe that you are way better doing the math. On top i believe, that you would be able to add last years experiences into your considerations  Grin Shocked Roll Eyes

And more price rise for sure. This topic flourishing for the next days will have around 1000 pages. This reminds me on DASH early days.  Wink
Volume of trade is very good (Poloniex). I can not shake thoughts this can be next big thing! This can lead us to big peaks.

Well I can tell you Uruguay has the most relaxed marijuana laws in the world.  Meaning they really have no criminalization for selling or cultivating. I don't mean little amounts I mean the sky is the limit.

BCT-E apparently has also been targeted. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1396928.0

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card
