If you aren't interested in Monero then why the fuck are you the person posting the most on this thread for the last day or three?

Insecurity, I'd say. He's probably seen the transaction volume data indicating that Dash isn't growing in terms of real users, just speculative bagholders. Cognitive dissonance may make him consciously unaware of that fact that Dash is a house of cards, but the niggling doubt never dissipates. So he resorts to taking out his anxiety on legitimate projects. Sad!

That can equally explain why monero trolls infest the Dash Announcement thread every day. In fact considering I don't see any Dash trolling on here it better explains it.

Why the *bleep* I came here was to try and better understand the mind of the trolls who infest the Dash thread. I thought I might discover some more enlightened opinions on here, in their own turf, but I've been disappointed on the whole. I bid you all adieu.

Is that better smoothie ?

That's a different person, but yes, your opinions, whatever their merits, are better expressed when you don't engage in name calling.

There is major overhead resistance at a Fibonacci level sitting on .0107. It has been tested twice so far and price could not penetrate.

There was new release only 4 days ago.  And in few days we will see GUI beta 2, that should be last beta.  Only thing that really matter, the Monero development is stronger then ever. There was and is plenty of good news, but seems people rather stick their head in sand.

I think a lot of people would rather be in bitcoin because it's so bullish right now.  That could be suppressing xmr's price a little bit.
Eventually XMR will rally versus XBT, the question is when.  It could happen next week or two years from now.

Once BTC holders start their profit taking xmr will see some of that come back.

XMR has had a rally vs BTC in the past during BTC run-ups. Don't see any reason for it not to happen again.

Is it over? im not mean to trolling, but many coin already rise and down, it's not new , but i just wonder why CPU coin always have short term compared than GPU or Asic coin. In honesty i think it's not fair, Asic miner always have upper hand than CPU or GPU Miner, how cryptocurrency achieve their mission to be decentralized e-currency if in the end the small in quantity Asic miner get a hold major percentage in any crpyto coin. Asic mining should be banned and any developer should not permit it in their coin  Grin it will be great if my wish come true

Is what over?

In less than a month, Monero will have been around for 3 years.

3 years! 3 years, as one of the only altcoins fairly launched. 3 years with non stop development. You want a fork? Here's a fork. Boom. Consensus rule changes , no problem.

Its not over.

Its barely begun. Well, it did begin. RingCT happened. Apparently once we get multisig you won't be able to look at your monitor because the beauty that is Monero will be so blinding.

I don't know if it is over or not  Wink but I know that the mining speed has never been so high before - 62MHs with approx 6000 unique miners. This is the only coin that is definitely ASIC and GPU proof. The incoming RYZEN gonna probably produce as much hash as a 480x. It's a great irony that this was and is the only not-cripplemined coin ever, because no one could simply have/had considerably more hashrate thanks to whatever kind of super optimized hardware or software. And the irony is that this is the only "con" in the mouth of such anti monero people like some Dashers or btc-ers. Pathetic !!!  Grin I'm all in Monero now no doubt. And I don't see it like the second best, but the best coin ever.

In Monero for a while. The weird part is that I currently consider Monero more undervalued at <12$ than at 0.50$. Monero just works great right now.

Like Karl Friedrich von Münchhausen, Monero pulled itself out of the swamp on it's own hairs. Now Monero is up and walking while many exiting things are in the pipeline. As long as quality and fungibility remains the number one focus I am going nowhere.

In the very short term it is maybe hard to put a number on magic fungible internet money. Longer term absolutely not.

the only not-cripplemined

Technically it was cripple mined for a short time (inherited crippled mining code from Bytecoin) but the amount of coins attributable to that before it got fixed was low (few percent at most, probably less).

Let's be proud of what has been achieved and indeed as you say the mining network of XMR is a pretty damn impressive achievement but not deny that it has not been a bump-free road.

At 5 H/W we rank about 3rd by power dissipation on the supercomputer list: https://www.top500.org/lists/2016/11/

well after some thought i think monero still in "safe" point, as long it's not reach $5 i think monero still have chance, a big chance

well the most point i like from monero that it's not give GPU advantage and as long as i know it cant be mine using ASIC, right? if only other coin developer have this mindset,   Wink

can you explain to me, why you said that monero is being undervalued? i dont really know, but at the moment this is the highest CPU with Cryptonight algo ever achieved. if the highest coin is being undervalued, then many cryptonote algo are also being undervalued?, cmiiw.

I think the two major weaknesses Monero have are 1) No masternodes (only dumpages on the exchanges) 2) No ongoing marketing hype. The result is that the price declines against bitcoin.
